Legislature hears from annexation opponents

Lexington voted to annex me. I DID NOT GET TO VOTE

I have decide no on annexation, it's an unfair law which destroys the lives of people who cannot pay for services they do not need or want. I am one of those people
I may go to jail or lose my home to back taxes but I am not going to accept the vote of the city.

In some countries it's against the law for a woman to drive a car or to have her hear or body uncovered. The punishment for breaking those laws is death. I do not agree with that law either and I oppose them. I will not cooperate with annexation and I will suffer what ever my decision brings. If I go to jail for not cooperating with an unfair unjust law so be it. I will go to jail as a man who stood again injustice. Not as a cowardly sheep being ruled by a Mafia like city council.

The dispatch via, Chad, said he would not print letters of the continued debate related to annexation since the city has voted to annex the Sapona area.

Above is the letter Chad refused to print, the letter is 2 above as i wanted to be my Sept. letter. I told Chad I would not send letters to the paper ever again and I will not ever read his paper again.
I was told that today the paper has an annexation letter printed by Kathy Clemmons about the on going annexation debate..

Now I am confused, my wife takes the paper, as I refuse to ever touch it, because we have a bird. I will not read it since Chad emailed me he was not printing my letter about about on going annexation debate. I assume he thinks the battle is over and perhaps we need to boycott the paper as well as the stores who advertise in it.

I just feel sorry my bird had to be exposed to it but he give it it's do or dodo.

Ask for all records from the city, find out if phones or computer are being used for personal reasons, like jokes or personal emails. Are people being promoted for social ties.

Find out why the golf course is maintained when it could be sold to a private company. i have never seen a perfect city government.

N.C. is one of 3 states in the US that uses a law passed in 1959 to force communities into the city limit against their will.
The Lexington, N.C. city council voted 100% to annex their neighbors. FORCED ANNEXATION will double the taxes of each property owner and provide services that already exist and are not needed or wanted by 99.9% of the people being annexed. Double auto tax and the works.

In the area being annexed is a large country club but many of them are not rich and many single parents home exist; beyond the country club are working class communities where many retired baby boomers and their parents live. Many grand's raising grand kids. Hundred are retired on a fixed income dozens are disabled also on a fixed income. Many cannot buy gas to get to town to buy medication and food they cannot afford now.
Because of the flat housing market people are trapped and in June of 09 the people who cannot pay double taxes or sell and move will lose their homes to the city tax dept.
In my life time I have never seen a greater cry for help or a more immoral act of tyranny on American soil since 9/11.
The people have Marched and protested and even begged for mercy form the city with none shown. The city has called them moochers and freeloaders.
I have watch many good people come to tear because this is not the government we grew up in this is not the free people have fought and died for.

The only difference I can see since WW2 is that if Hitler had won we could get the same treatment with only difference I see is we may be speaking German.

I have never felt so desperate and so abused my the mother land. Can anyone help us?? Have we become a nation of tax slaves?

This may be legal as abortion is legal but few living people will tell you that wish they had been aborted.
