How sad to feel so hopeless with your life that you feel your only choice is to end your life. I hate that people's life problems weigh them down so much. My sympathy.

It's not hard to imagine a desperate and hopeless woman in the vicinity of Aston Park. Poor thing...

I hope they don't just rule suicide because of who she was. Pretty easy to set that up to look like a suicide. Did she leave a note?

No, according to statistics, women usually choose a less violent method, usually an overdose. So very sad.

No, that's a mans way out. A woman will OD or slit her wrists--altho I think OD is the way of most women who wish to go on outta here.

This is sad and the area of which the woman was found leaves alot to speculation.

I hope she is at rest now.

How tall was the tree? How did she even get up there by herself to hang the rope, then hang herself without any one seeing her? This seems a little odd to me considering that park is filled with drunks, homeless people, and drug users. So my question really is--Why in God's name would they call it a suicide? Is this just a tactic to stall the neighborhood so they will feel better about the situation. The truth of the matter is it happened in an open area that contains alot of activity. I just pray that they will find the person who did it.

It is dark at night...crack heads tend to avoid calling the police to report suspicious activity. Crack heads also tend to not be of the highest moral character. Negotiation and counseling are also not their forte.

Have you ever climbed a tree as a child? I know I've climbed quite a few in my day. She probably put one end of the rope around her neck, climbed to desired branch, tied the other end of the rope, and let go.

Neither you, I, or anyone else on these forums know what the scene looked like. An investigation will be completed by the police department and the coroner. If it is deemed that this is not self-inflicted, you will soon find out. I'd imagine that hanging will leave pretty distinct wounds, and an experienced police officer can probably tell that is likely what caused the death.

So why in God's name are you saying this shouldn't be ruled a suicide?

Let me put it to you like this. This is not the first death in that park, so that's why I said why are they calliong it a suicide. Also, the other deaths have not been solved yet. We don't know if she was a crackhead or not, it doesn't matter. She was still a human being. When you were a child did you climb that tree in the dark, and was it fun, and if you did climb in the dark you should have been in the house under some supervision. But like I said I hope they do find out what happened--I am not assuming I just asked some questions.

Now this makes a lot of sense....No.

So, it is "odd" that a woman would commit suicide in a park "filled with drunks, homeless people, and drug users", but not odd that someone would murder a person in a park "filled with drunks, homeless people, and drug users".

What a freaking idiot. Good work, sluth-boy.

Hey, read the posting I quoted...they said the park is full of drug addicts and drunks. Those were the crackheads I was referring to.

Work on your reading comprehension so you don't make an ass out of yourself.

Good work.
