Abortifacients is what Planned Parenthood is offering. Drugs that kill babies at a very young age. Yes when the walls of uterus do not allow the fertilized egg a place to implant, the zygote (fertilized egg) starves to death.
That zygote is a human being. Planned Parenthood purports racism and superiority by doing this and catering it to the black race especially with its cheaper prices. Wake up people of color and white people also. I will be praying for Obama to become prolife also. He is a very intelligent and capable man--if only he were pro-life! |

Is it true IUD's and birth control pills act about the same way?
|
||||
Yes, it is true. So do not use them either. Remember it was mentioned in the article that they are just birth control pills with higher potency. I quote the article, "Plan B emergency contraception provides a larger dose of the same hormones found in birth control pills." So wake up girls and women and let's stop killing our children and by the way you will be doing your body a favor when you do not use all those extra hormones. Birth control pills have been strongly linked to breast cancer. |

So do you also oppose fertility clinics where millions and millions of unimplanted fertilized eggs are suspended in a frozen state until they lose viability or are discarded? I sure hope so. I hope you protest outside of them as much as you do outside of abortion clinics. If Plan B is "murder" than so is freezing embryos that will never be imlanted- which is almost all of them. |

Depends on the type of IUD. There are several. IUDs with hormones can prevent ovulation. IUDs without hormones usually just prevent implantation of a fertilized egg. Birth control pills prevent ovulation. |

Obama is more pro-life than Bush. Pro-life is more than opposing abortion, you know. |

Isn't Obama FOR partial-birth abortions? Isn't that where the baby is partially delivered and then has his/her brains sucked out of their head? |

No, that's not what it is and no one is "for" it. If this is how you speak, you were never going to vote for Obanma anyway. He's doing fine without your vote. |

Hmm, what are the chances that there's a religious motivation behind this anti-choice preaching?

Lemme fix this for ya..
Abortifacients is what Planned Parenthood is offering. Drugs that prevent unwanted pregnancy. Yes when the walls of uterus do not allow the fertilized egg a place to implant, the zygote (fertilized egg) is discharged with the natural cycle. That zygote is not a person, much as a fingernail clipping is not a person. Planned Parenthood is open to all people, regardless of race or income. (racist, political, religious rambling removed as a service to the reader) |

No. That's exactly what a partial birth abortion is: The child is delivered naturally feet first and then stopped before the head. The abortionist then punctures the child's skull with a scissors-like instrument, suctions the child's brain and thus, collapses the skull. Partial birth abortion is a gruesome procedure that was thankfully banned (that ban was upheld by the Supreme Court last year). Barack Hussein Obama was indeed for this gruesome procedure as evidenced by his denunciaiton of the Supreme Court ruling and, his record in IL where he adamately opposed any state bans on partial birth abortion. |

Okay, what is partial-birth abortion and when did Obama vote against it? See, I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong. And I did consider voting for him since I am not a McCain fan and certainly not a Hilary fan. But now that I see what he really stands for, no way. Actually, for the first time since I was old enough to vote, I may sit out a presidential election. |

Obama's record in Illinois represents that of a pragmatic progressive, who pushed for moderate reforms and opposed right-wing legislation. In the IL legislature, voting "present" is the equivalent of voting "no" because a majority of "yes" votes are required for passage. Many IL legislators use the "present" vote as an evasion on an unpopular choice, so that they can avoid being targeted for voting "no." During the 2004 Democratic primary, an opponent mocked Obama's "present" vote on abortion bills with flyers portraying a rubber duck and the words, "He ducked!".
In 1997, Obama voted against SB 230, which would have turned doctors into felons by banning so-called partial-birth abortion, & against a 2000 bill banning state funding. Although these bills included an exception to save the life of the mother, they didn't include anything about abortions necessary to protect the health of the mother. The legislation defined a fetus as a person, & could have criminalized virtually all abortion. |

They are at the Buncombe County Health Dept.- they give them out whether you want them or not. By the way, the condoms PP used to provide (not sure about now) were apprently the least effective. Makes you wonder if bad condoms mean good business for PP. |

In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA (Born Alive Infants Protection Act) was sent, Obama prevented it from even getting a hearing. BAIPA, by the way, stated that all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted. In 2001, he voted “present” on a bill to notify parents when their minor children seek an abortion. He voted against a cloning ban in 2000, but voted for it in 2001. In 1997, Obama twice voted “present” on an Illinois partial-birth abortion ban. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/7750... The man has no backbone. |
|||
|
Federal law already covered the BAIPA in 2002. Why waste time on it again in 2003?
BAIPA is obviously a religiously influenced notion. It's goal is to wedge the bible into everyone's life, regardless of their personal beliefs. Would you like to have a taste of MY belief system? How 'bout a heapin' helpin' of Islam, or voodoo, or Norse mythology? And don't Spartan beliefs pre-date BAIPA? Let's judge the worth of the baby at birth ... those that don't measure up must be left on the hillside to die. Now that takes backbone. |

What does religion have to do with sucking babies' brains out???? Does your "religion" condone such a barbaric practice??? |
