Woman can sue Marshall over ban on dancing

A lady shakes her booty in Madison county and it goes to court? Wonder how many "Girls gone wild" video's are owned by the Madison county residents. Goes to show the influx of Yankee puritan values dumped into the south, or the hard core Baptist that still try to rule by what they interpet the bible says is right. People dance because they feel the music and want to express it in moving their bodies.

Having played Blue Grass music on stage for 15 years, whats next? A fine for clogging? NO thats exempt, even though your booty moves, its southern tradition. If you have a nice booty, the lawmakers, politicians, and old time bitties, will have no problem with it.

Wish I could find the right lawyer to sue the Government because they won't support me and I have to work for a living.

They will support (barely) if you live long enough to draw social security, but then again you may still have to work as a greeter at Wal-Mart. LOL

I have seen this woman (I will not call her a lady) dancing with her son at another place and it is not clogging. About the only thing that kept their dancing from being hard core porn is that they still had their clothes on. I am far from being a prude but what she was doing does not belong in the general public where there are children present. I do go to the Depot on Friday nights and enjoy the music and dancing. There are people of all ages there from the very young to the very old.

It seems the issue here is not whether or not the woman was dancing in any fashion of any kind. The issue is that the government just told her she couldn't dance or even come in to the place; and then didn't give any good reasons why.

And that folks is what is going to result in the town of Marshall having to float a bond referendum to pay off this citizen, cause she is gonna win and win big. And oh yes, her lawyers are going to get a bunch too. An oh yes, you will all be complaining about it.

Just be glad if you don't live in Marshall... Madison County is out of this one. But the Little Town On The River is in for a wild ride. And oh yes, you will see it on TV. And oh yes they will be laughing about it on the Leno show. And I say its about time...dumbazzes.

You are right Red Sox Fan. I'm going to be the first one in line to put my application in when I can stop working at 75 or so. If we're lucky enough to only work to 75 that is.

This woman was a "hard core baptist" and believed that any girl that wore makeup or short skirts would go to hell. She had a beautiful singing voice - she use to sing "How Great Thou Art". Its a shame that she got out of church and let the world take control of her life. The Rebecca I new would never had participated in anything like this. She use to be a good role model.
