I was going to say the same exact thing. I've seen several posts from different people saying they have some idea of who did this. If you do know who did it, step up and do the right thing. Call the police and tell them. Stop all of this stupid revenge stuff. Revenge will not bring anyone back. It just perpetuates even more violence.
Also, community policing in this area of Fitchburg would be welcomed. That particular area is very well known for drug activity.

I've lived in Fitchburg all my life and it's sad to see how violence has overcome this city. This man was changing his life around and then some ignorant ass came to take it away. I didn't know him, but I can only imagine what his family/friends are going through. Nobody deserves to die like that. We think that it is ridiculous that you people can only talk about all the negative things about this man instead of talking about all the positive like how he would help a stranded woman with a flat tire, or how he was a wonderful man to all that knew him. How all the kids loved him and looked up to him. A person's past is a person's past and he was a changed man. He was like a big brother to all of us and a godfather to all of the kids. What you should talk about is how this is a tragedy and that the people of this town have lost a great man. And that a man as loving and sweet as Isreal did not deserve to die the way that he did. Talk about the man that he is not the man that he was. And focus on finding whomever is responsible for this and not talking about his past.

To the coward that did this you better pray that the police find you b4 the streets do. You took a great man from us and we are hurt by that.

Isreal was no good, I don't care what any of you all say. The man was a convicted murderer, and terrorized the streets of Fitchburg for years. Although nobody deserves to die a violent death like this, to discount the article because it states the facts is just another example of how this whole younger generation is a bunch of brainwashed hiphop wannabe's that need to go back to school.
