we read your comment on judge sharon mettler retiring. we am very glad she is retiring on July 14, 2008. mettler, in our experience is one of the worst judges in Kern County.she does not rule by the letter of the law or the facts presented to her. she has continued to rule with extreme prejudice. she is bias, frivolous and sarcastic, and does not rule in the best interest of the children and places them in harms way.if women judges rule like mettler then maybe they should not be judges. she was over tuned in appeals in 2007 for ruling this way. last year alone there were several motions made in family law to have her recused. in one case she admits that she does not like the case, but goes on to state she feels she can judge fairly. now let me ask you if you do not like something that makes you biased! Does it not? parents are fustrated with the court system and those who police the performance of these judges. Look to the local news Bakersfield Califorian - Mural tribute to 9/11 defaced. this was done by a parent who was before mettler. the message scrawled with a complaint was against Kern County Court Judge Sharon Mettler. there is a movementby several parents to file laws suits against her Black Robe abuse.
