Nothing about a "christian" democracy there. The 10 commandments and Jesus' teachings are merely mentioned as sources of inspiration about government and morality along with other historical documents and events. So quit lying with your false assertions the display consists of the 10 commandments plus another document; it doesn't. Nor is the display detailing America's roots as a "christian" democracy, except in your delusional mind. Christianity isn't even mentioned in the US constitution plus freedom of religion guarantees that neither Christianity nor any other religion has any official role in our government.
So your big hoopla point was to highlight the fact a school board agreed to frame a page from a school text book and display it in a school building? You're really grasping at straws for something to feel good about if you claim that as some sort of victory for religion.
I agree religion has and continues to influence life and people in the US. But it hardly "plays a major role in everything" when government is constitutionally prohibited from endorsing or promoting religion or even using religious beliefs as justification to discriminate against its citizens.
