Greg Rubino, the Erie real estate developer who is president of ERE, could not be reached for comment.
I wonder what the salary would be for Greg Rubino, "President" of ERE.

Not sure, but it must be high. That's how he gets the average employee salaries to come out to $50,000.

Gee, no wonder Erie is becoming a ghost town. I hope they move to a more business friendly town. That's okay. We don't need any jobs in Erie. We can all go work for the Tourist Association.

We can all go work for the Tourist Association. Over 100 years ago when Hammermill started in Erie, the location was rural in comparison to how it is today. Even though the IP site is zoned for heavy industrial use the tire plant needs to be located somewhere less populated and not surrounded by schools. If people choose to move next to the incinerator that is their perogative, but forcing existing residents to live next to the plant and it's emissions is morally wrong. 50-60 jobs and a hefty salary for Rubino does not trump the overall well being of everyone. I sure don't see anyone buying up property adjacent to the IP site and speculating an increase in property values for this venture. Where's Filippi when you need him? Will someone get a hold of Herb Fiss or Brad Fairfield to take care of this.

How about a nuclear waste dump next? Plenty of jobs for Erie! We might very easily become the waste capital of the world! Come to Erie and swim with the two headed fish!

All I am saying is that we are so worried about the pollution in our great city. I do understand that.Is any one doing anything about Our great Presque isle state parks and NO ONE can swim in the water because of the ECOLI. We are also complaining that their are no jobs in ERIE. Here is a company that is bringing jobs to our area and everyone is pushing them away.
