You still haven't got that fry cook job yet? How sad. You're so very talented at doing exactly what others tell you to with no notion of original thought-you'd be perfect for it.

There's more integrity in a fry cook than a lawyer. Fry cooks don't steal from people. How's your pro la raza, pro ACLU, pro NAMBLA buddy Sonia Sotomayor doing? What other low life groups does she represent? Who's she giving BJ's too?

Really? Ask your fellow fry cooks about that comparison. And since lawyers are so wretched to you, surely when the time comes, and it probably will, you'll proceed pro se, right?

And I'm still waiting for your proof of Sotomayer's constant reversals; think you could get that to me soon? Remember? You said she was constantly being overturned on appeal. Can you cite those cases and the stated reasons for such reversal? Ya know, after your 2d shift at The Greasetrap.

Here's one....

I don't know if it means that much in that Judge Sotomayor would be replacing Justice Souter who was in the minority of the decision.

One? How about the remainder of the decisions that are, in gfarce's words, "constantly overturned". Keep digging.

Gfarce? You have another fighting your battles for you now?

If things keep up like this, under the rule of King Onothing.....next year we will all be living in cardboard boxes under the viducts and bridges. What does he care? His dog has better living conditions than most hard working folks, and as for unemployment, next year it will be 25 percent. He promised change, he just never said how bad the change would really be.

Wow, up to 3. I think at last count, she's written 232 opinions. Yeah, that 3 is a big dent.

Besides, it's gfarce's job; he made the claim and now he's too afraid to back it up (typical of the religious, but that's a topic for another day). Or perhaps he's had his life's only moment of revelation-that's he's big, fat liar.

Three in addition to the recent Firefighter case.
1. She ruled that a prison inmate had the right to sue a contractor - overturned by another 5-4 - not founded in law.
2. She ruled that the EPA could not use a cost-benefit analysis to determine the best technology to draw cooling water in to power plants --overturned 6-3 - she had determined that the methods impacted marine life and but BACT had been on the books since the early 1990's.
3. The third - quoted to be kind a fundamental intrepretation of law which was overturned 8-0 in ruling that a class action suit could be brought to court in violation of the 1998 Securities Litigation Act.

Just the facts....so, do those 3 (now 4) overturns mean that she is not qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice? No comment here, but there is a reason we have nine Supreme Court Justices not one.

Some cases?? Reviewed??

How about a list detailing how she is constantly overturned by the SCT??? That's what you said-so back it up. It's so simple. You wouldn't have said what you did unless you had the facts in your corner, right? Or perhaps, you were simply speaking about something you know nothing about?

The reason? The Federal Judiciary Act called for a chief justice and five associate justices. The current lineup of eight associates and a chief didn't solidify until the late 1860s.

The benefit -- as we see by the dissentions (5-4, 6-3) even learned people can disagree on the interpretation of the law provided that is all they are doing. Quite a good check.

Maybe there's a correspondence course available?

Sad thing is, he seems like he was mentally victimized early on in life and in some ways, is not responsible for his words and actions. Seems that he just repeats things he hears, without regard for objective examination. Oh well, it wouldn't be a Bell Curve unless there was a large segment to the (far) left of the crest.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Leo

You'll be action-oriented today, Leo. If truth be told, intense physical activity has the ability to soothe you much more than frenzied mental exercise. Invitations to madness are the wrong thing for you, but they are tempting nonetheless. Dig in your heels and do what you know you have to do. When driving this evening, take extra care.
