Making her screen debut

I was pretty certain that I didn't have a part in the movie because I didn't stay until they finished the scene, so I kind of forgot about the movie during the past two years. I was really surprised to find out later that we were in it. The movie Arnolds Park, shown in area movie theaters recently, was filmed at the Iowa Great Lakes, an area that is very familiar to many in northwest Iowa. But the movie also featured a familiar face. As an extra in the movie, Anne Bonestroo, from Hull , made her big-screen debut. Viewers can catch her in the background of the fight scene, wearing a bright blue shorts outfit. "But you have to look fast or you might miss me," she added with a smile. The movie was filmed in the summer of 2005, and many of the scenes are filmed around Lake Okoboji . Read more
