Anyone know what's going in the old Hardee's building? I know Hobby Lobby is supposed to be opening in the old Schunck's building? Anyone know when it's opening?

According to the Leader Hobby Lobby will try to be open before Christmas.
Apparently they are talking to a couple different people who are interested in the old Hardee's but they are not saying who at this time. |

Well what is going on with the Old Burger King, Wendy’s and K-mart. They are an eye sore. I don’t understand why Burger King shut down in the first place. Wendy’s was unsanitary and K-mart kept getting hit with thieves. They lost a fortune on that store. And I thought the Schnucks was going to be a sporting goods store. It may just be me. But I don’t see a Hobby Lobby that size last very long here.

K-Mart is becoming a Gander Mountain and should open early next year some time.

I may be mistaken but I think the old Burger King property now belongs to the school district.

I wonder what the want to do with that building or if they are just going to tear it down to make room for the entry way.

It is sort of like a Bass Pro or a Cabela's.

That is what has been published in our local papers along with what the City officials have been saying.
|

Hopefully Gander Mountain just will not officially release it until they have an opening date. The person I talked to said she is usually the first to know of these things and she has never heard of one going up in Arnold.

There is nothing mentioned on their website at all.
