Irish 'wave energy' firm to open in Annapolis

An Irish company that's building devices to harness the power of ocean waves to generate electricity announced yesterday that it plans to open its U.S. headquarters in Annapolis.

I hope O'malley is making informed decisions about the viability of such technologies. With all the universities in the area and their scientific resources, I'm sure there are lots of schemes that have promise. Maryland has tremendous resources available in the "Blue" power arena with access to rivers, Chesapeake bay and the ocean. Making sure he gets the biggest bang for the taxpayers buck should be the top priority.

jp likes clean renewable energy. If we can get fusion going we will save the world. For now.
