Missing Girl in Bolt WV

I have seen this topic on several other sites on Topix I am so sorry for this family our prayers go out to them for them to find the answeres for closure, dont quite understand why this church isnt more willing to help the family????

I've also saw this on other topix. They keep saying she either ran away or has been found, I think that's just someone wanting this story dropped. If anyone knows any information on this girl, help this family. Help them find some closure.

During my reading of this article I began to wonder if the gentlemen thought that maybe, just maybe, they should try speaking with Pastor Lowe. I personally have known Mr. Lowe for over 25 years and have never known him to deny speaking or listening to anyone with a problem, question, or concern. No where in this article does it mention speaking with him or any other church member or making any attempt to speak to anyone. The only voices heard are those of the missing girls family. I am not demeaning anything the family members said or any feelings they have, I am only stating that before an article begins slandering a chuch, its members, or its pastor, they should maybe get out of their "box" and speak to everyone involved. I have always been told there are 2 sides to every story but only 1 is being told here. The other 2 so called mysterious murders that happened around the church in the 50's and early 70's are irrelevant I feel. A teenager is found dead in the pond on the church property...so that automatically makes the church involved? I live near a church and teenagers are all the time up there. I have cleaned beer bottles up from around the church. Does that mean the church is involved in the alcohol consumption? A woman turns up dead by a tree after the area was searched a day before...so that automatically makes the church involved? I mean, unless you are stupid, why would you put a dead body on church property especially if its your church and you knew people would be coming by and could see it. I really think that before any article is printed that could cause hardship on God's people or their place of worship, a little more research should be done. The gentlemen writing this article did not even respect God enough to know His name should be capitalized, for He is everything and in all things. Another thing, if these people they talked to know so much about what happened 15 years ago, why isn't the case solved? That is what i would be asking

I agree and as I said in the other post on here I dont think anyone is trying to be disrespectful to the church or etc. they are just hurting and need some closure in order to go on with their lives.

This family is not interested in the previous people found at the church.they are only concerned about their daughter. Iam sure if it was deweys daughter missing he would feel different.The preacher nor the congregation own this church.

I hear that her husband was working on the sewer when she came up missing at this church and i hear that when people asked to dig the sewer up they were told no. They're not saying the church had anything to do with it they r just saying that maybe her body is there. so why not let them dig it up. doesnt god want us to help people in any way that we can. And i dont think God would get mad 4 looking.

i don't know this story but i could maybe help....anyone want to completely fill me in?

thats what i heard too. i do agree with helping in any way possible. it kinda makes it look suspicious, dont ya think?

i go to the church and Dewy has never turned down a family to talk to i have had him a teacher and now a pastor and he will do anything he can to help a family, church member, or someone lost with GOD, as the person a few post up has said they should get out of the box and get both sides of the story....and have enough respect for someone to not to put them down if you dont know them

If anyone is a member of Breckenridge Missionary Baptist Church or knows someone that is a member on Breckenridge Rd. There is a lot of people that are curious WHY Dewey Lowe the pastor DID NOT let the family of the missing Stephens girl from Harmon Ln. that used to go to that church there. search the church property for her does anybody know WHY?????

People should not blame the paster,I dont go to his church but I know a lot of people who do.So take the time to talk to the paster he may be able to give people hope that the person who did this to come and confess.

I am a member of BMBC and from I have heard the family wanted to dig up the septic tank which I was told was voted on and the church denied the request....not certain but that's what I have been told

i have a question. why has the police not got a warrant to search the church and the property septic tank and all? has this ever happened? the pastor or knowone could stop that. right!

That is a good question for the authorities? The biggest question is WHY that church refused to help Cherice's family to get some closure in her disappearance????

Cherices Family has always stated how thankful they were of and How the majority of the people from that community has always been caring and more than willing to help in this matter. One comment that has been made by numerous people that I agree with is if the same matter was presented to any other church with in a 50 mile radius there would not be what seems to be a problem. "WHY" does the same Church that Cherice attended put fourth so much "Friction" in just helping???? "WHY" WHAT WOULD JESUS DO???

Would the majority of people agree that if"The Kids In Sunday School Class" had to vote on a search for their own or someone elses "Mommy, Daddy, Sister,Brother or Friend do you think the vote would be "YES" "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO"
