What needs to be printed is the name of each Senator and Representative that gets this wasteful spending in these bills.

its a lack of oversight by the state. he should be at the state capital pleading his case. but once again he prefers national attention to actually accomplishing anything. except for the fact i can pack my .50 desert eagle in yellowstone if i want.

Okay, so we're unhappy with the members of the house and senate with the way the government spends our tax dollars...then we're unhappy when they vote against pork and/or point it out.

You are the one who should be ashamed by commenting on a story and you don't even live in Oklahoma. Is this all you have to do? Are you still mad because OU beat Mizzu?

this fool is one of the reasons im working on moving out of oklahoma. everytime myself or friends contact him about an issue, we get a stupid standard response. ive gotten responses from other states senetors that were thought out and well put. guess thats too much to expect here. its already reported that the whitehouse specifically responded to his claims making him look foolish as he is. the guard rail around the dry lake is because the roads about 120 feet above the surrounding area. only common sense says that if someone leaves the road their done. what now, are you gonna rag on volcano monitoring to? go away coburn.

I personally couldn't be more proud of Senator Coburn. Of course the White House is going to do WHATEVER it takes, and SAY whatever they want to make him look stupid. It's either that or they look stupid! I'm glad he's keeping an eye on things, and wish more would make a stand like he has

I'm glad Senator Coburn is keeping an eye on it. It is really too bad he has to. But, it always works out this way. Not only with "stimulous dollars" but with any kind of tax dollars. Just look at Tulsa's river project. Tulsan's vote it down and the state throws money at it anyway. Hopefully something has changed about that decision.

I'll be the first to admit that answers provided to my correspondence often don't match-up to the questions asked. But I do get a response. I know somebody received it. As a junior Senator, I'm happy he represents Oklahoma. I'm really thankful I don't have a Pelosi or Dodd that I have to deal with. As far as the guard rail goes, judging by the amount of tumble-weeds and "crack vegetation" sprouting up, it doesn't appear as though anyone has traveled that road since 1938. A road "well traveled" might be a better investment.

He has voted for every tax cut for the rich sence he has been there. The people he represents cant even afford a sewer line that he wont include in package. He represents the reasons this country are in the mess we are in today sending all of out work to china. What a broken system and how much does he get paid to vote against all opportunities.

John from Ventura, Ca
Why don’t you move to the state of California – the state that elected Queen Nancy Pinocchio (Pelosi) as their senator. The tax payers not only bought her a new airplane but also pays $300,000 a week in fuel to transport her from California to Washington where she can confront the CEOs from the “Big Three” for flying their (small) corporate jets. Ha Ha. She and her husband are worth an estimated one Billion dollars. You call Senator Coburn and Oklahoma fools – Sorry you got the wrong senator and state in mind.

Dr. Tom is doing a GREAT job. At least he has the stones to stand up and speak his mind and not be a rubber stamp for Washington. Pointing out the waste of our tax dollars is a bad thing? It's OUR money! And the Democrats are throwing it around like confetti in the wind..........it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Probably the Senator I agree with the most is Senator Corker from the great state of Tennessee. Senator Coburn, considering his seniority, has done a pretty good job though. I suppose sometimes he has had second thoughts on how he voted.
As far as sewer projects, that normally falls within a city or county project. I remember the last big sewer project my area went thru not too many years ago. Big upgrade was "advertised". A lot of help was needed! The crew(s) that showed up were out of San Diego, CA. So much for jobs, jobs, jobs! What I remember most is being told that they were from California - they could do anything.

The last time I checked, any "Okie" resident is free to leave. We don't have an "out-a-gration" quota. If you need help buying a bus ticket, I'm sure there are people that will help you.
