i'm sorry but i had to comment on this article.i am the original person who installed the cameras for arlington co, fairfax city and the city of alexandria as well as the city of baltimore and the beginning install stages in wash dc. i managed all three projects from my home starting in 1997-1999.i can honestly say that the cameras do deter redlight running and decrease accidents pertaining to redlight running.however, in the initial stages of the programs there was a strong emphasize placed on generating revenue, which i strongly disagreed with.again the programs DO WORK, AND WELL I MIGHT ADD when rolled out properly.
