The county is running out of money and seeks to steal even more of it from its residents. Yet they can waste it by participating in lawsuits for building new schools in towns that don't want them, and whose water supply will be negatively impacted by them. How shameful. And this is after a real estate rate hike!

What is our treasurer and Board of Supervisors doing with our money? I hesitate to use phrases like "fiscal mismanagement" and "misappropriation of funds" yet- but at a minimum this is irresponsible and warrants an investigation and criticism of our current board's and treasurer's ability to act in our best interests. Perhaps it's time to fire Mr. Zurn and show some board members to the door.

Let me guess. The majority of the Board are Democrats. Right? Sure sounds like it.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
