It's not enough. It's only 20% in your area. You could possibly go 3-5 miles in any direction, and it can be much higher. The rates can be negotiated, they will tell you the aren't but they are. My neighbor works for a company that is doing some gas work in Rendon, and the percentage is higher out there.

Ya I've got one from them, and haven't signed it. Because my neighbors are trying to amend it. And that the mortgages think they can take their share of the royalities,

What are the going lease rates for gas drilling around Keene, TX?? Anyone know current rates per acre?
