I live off of 360 in East Arlington. The gangs there have taken over the park there. They use drugs in plain view, run everybody away from the basketball court and the Cops just sit back ad watch??????? Whats up with that? Arlington wrote: Arlington has been infested with Gangs and it doesnt look like its getting any better. I stay in South Arlington of Green Oaks and Matlock and I witness a drive by shooting in the broad day light. I moved from North Arlington near the Washington Area because thats what always happen over there now these gangs are deep in South Arlington increasing the crime rate. Does any one else see this Gang Violence in Arlington headed down the wrong road???

I feel what you are saying and it good to see a real person. i hate wannabees my self. If you are from a good area why act like you are gangter when you dont have to. if you have privligages why act like you dont. These wannabees listen to rap and wacth boyz in the hood and want to be like that because they think it is cool and their peers at school will think high of them. there are people in south dallas who would love to be in these wannabees shoes and would make something out of themselves but cant in southside because they scared to go to school cause of the real gangs. I hate wanna bees, they aint hard to me they are fake and stupid and get in trouble on purpose. I was born In North Dallas skillman and audelia and moved to Garland but went to school in richardson school disctrict. I would have to tell my 3 cousins from southside that i go to a white school. But i seen so many fake wannabees in junor high it made me sick. There where few who uses to live in oak cliff or pleasant groove live my homeboy brandon who where gangsters and didnt want to leave that livestyle, but the rest rather they where white black or mexican who where born and raised in a nice neighborhood but wanted to gangbang didnt fool me because they are fake.

I hate wannabees who dont need to gang when they can go to school in a safe privliaged enviroment. get a grilfriend, do the thing and go to the prom go to college and make someting. there are no gangs in rich areas only dumb wwnnabees who think it is cool. gangs are not good anywhere. be a doctor so many people who could have been a dr or lawer or astronaut have wasted there life.women who could have been a teacer or something but are tricks.

Wannabees can be just as dangerous though...all it takes is a gun in the hands of the wrong person.

I can no longer stand to live in Arlington or the state of Texas. And the police could do something about it but, they are either too scared or too lazy!!

I couldnt agrre with you more. Arlington has some areas that has high crime just like dallas and fort worth. im not sayin Arlington is on they level but arlington streets are not safe as they look. the East Side and Northside where the blacks are as you can see the gang violence between Sam Houston high(SouthEAST Arlington High School) and Lamar(North Arlington High School) is whats been on the news these clicks need to get a life because they are fighting over nothing at all. But Arlington Police is really out there trying to clean areas up. The north Arlington area cross 30(Washington Area) is gang infested so im assuming thats Northside Click and the eastside click is probably all those apartment areas off East Park Row to East Arbrook

Gangs? Well, its Texas, and my guns are bigger than theirs. Get a permit, protect your loved ones... simple. Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

Jesus promised to give his followers the best of gifts, the Holy Spirit as their Counselor and Helper. How does the Holy Spirit help us? Counselor is a legal term for one who defends someone against an adversary and who guides that person during the ordeal of trial. The Holy Spirit is our Advocate and Helper who brings us safely through the challenges and adversities we must face in this life. The Holy Spirit is also the Giver of life – the life of God – and the One who guides us in the way of truth. We can never stop learning because the Spirit leads us more and more into the knowledge of God's love and truth. Jesus also promised his followers the gift of peace. Peace is more than the absence of conflict or trouble. Peace includes everything which makes for our highest good. Trust in God, faith in his promises, and obedience to his word lead us to peace and safety in God's presence. That is why a Christian need not fear or be troubled by anything. What can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus?

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

What can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus? Are you serious? Remember, Jesus ended up dangling from a cross. Not to be mean, but thats not how I plan on going out. Just get a gun and stay out of there business. If theres something there doing that you don't like, ask them to be a little more discreet. Or try and work something out. They'll listen... Remember, the whole thug mentality is about respect. If you speak to them like they are scum, then i hope you have a gun. Treat them like the neighbor who plays the music loud and ask them to turn it down. Because if you become a problem to them, let's just say some people don't think things through.

Quite personally I would like to say that I atten Martin haigh school on the southwest side and yea I could agree with alot of the comments i'm hearing , although Arlington is far from the ghetto. Though the police do not to start cracking down more on young thugs and rapists such as Quentin J. Walker aka (streetname) yung houston and start taking care of business , because Arlington is a wonderful place to grow up , I grew here all my life and now im seeing nothing but ridiculous young fraud pretenders i've ever seen or met in my life.
