Arlington Gangs

Come on are we serious about GANGS in Arlington. Arlingon is the suburbs, I honestly wouldnt take them serious. I moving to Arlington soon because its closer to my job and the school are much better than Dallas schools. I would like to know more about these so called GANGMEMBERS in Arlington. What are they Crips, Bloods.LOL. I really think its funny because I havent seen an area in Arlington that looks like a gang environment

Yes, we have GANGS in Arlington. They are located in Central Arlington, East Arlington, Abrams Street and below, East of 360, in the Dalworth area. Some around Hutcheson jr. high and Sam Houston High. South, around Bowie High
I haven't seen any around North Arlington where I live. However,I am not worried, with the Ranger's stadium and new Cowboys stadium just being built, the city will keep a handle on it because they don't want to run off any baseball, football, or vacationers going to six-flags or Hurricane Harbor. These people spend money and our city needs the money. Evan if there were gangs close by, I am still not worried because I have a concealed handgun license and will protect myself if needed. There are GANGS in every city. Don't be afraid, THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT.

Gangs are very real here in the suburbs, sorry you dont see it that way, hate for you to be too stunned in shock or anything when you find out they are alive and well in Arlington.
Call Arlington Police dept and ask to speak to one of the officers in the gang unit
and be sure to get a police reoprt on your neighborhood BEFORE you buy, so you dont move next door to the criminal element as I did.

if you think its a joke about 8 years a kid got shot and killed in front of the eckerd stored and if you think its still a joke in timberlake apt. someone got kidniap and killed .So they are still there but it is not about terroy it about making money not trying sacre you but they are gang in arlington.

NO, I don't think it is a joke. This is why I have a CONCEALED HANDGUN LISCENSE and will protect myself if necessary. Am I going out to pick a fight with gangs?, of course not. However, I am not SCARED of them and if they come into my neighborhood and mess with me, BANG---GOODBYE. All cities have gangs even small cities. Don't be scared of them, this is what they want.

Yes they are real not that this is a good thing.
I would just hate to see them feel the need to prove themselves to people and an innocent party be involved just because someone from Dallas can't see it the rest of us know they are here . I would have to question the sense or safety in "calling them out" Myabe you would like to hire on at the APD and fix what you can't see as a problem .

Stop the mexican illegals from sneaking into TX and the gang problem will lessen in time. They will either kill each other off, be arrested or eventually flee for their lives. First the laws must enforced. Write to the Gov. (Rick Perry) and the other politicians in Austin.

why aren't gangs here labeled as Terrorists so that special rules apply?

I been on tha south since '98 willams elementry to seguin greduate ! tha south used to be GDs Crips and a little bloods here and there since agg-town fitz tha schools been "school clikin up" and Pullin Ho Moves! foe example across tha street from cornorstone church there is a clik named HMC ho move click that go around and do dumb stuff we got a new station though lets see

I was born and raised in east arlington, and YES there are gangs here--hispanic, asian, white, and black. the problem is that people from the "big cities" say they arent about anything, and that makes them go do more stupid stuff to show that they are "real" gangs. We have always had gangs here, you just never used to hear about them because they only fought within each other, now they are spreading out. all of these little boys are thinking they are men and shooting because they cant fight. and for the person in north arlington, they are there too---they got pushed out of all the crack head areas when the stadium tore down all of the apts on collins and Randoll Mill

HEY Swisher, I havent heard of them yet. But if they are really that dangerous, I'm sure we will soon. Been too much going on in East arlngton lately. My friends 19 y/o nephew got shot a couple weeks ago- the police are still trying ot figure out if it was gang or drug related---BOTH are out of hand over here.
