Grandview residents to vote on tax hike to balance budget

The City Council agreed Monday to place a measure on the May ballot asking for a two-year, 1.5 percent increase in taxes on private utilities such as electricity, phones and cable television. via Yakima Herald-Republic

Oh I get it to make up for what they spent on the new police cars.Well then why dont they go ahead and get every household a brand new car since at the end we are the ones paying for them.
