Maplewood Gang

...i just wanna say,since i was one of men that started the mapplewood movment,we were actualy a group of kids from other states an citys(malden,ma los angles,miami,boston philly,pa) that ended up living in malden by certain circumstances..the city was nothing like we were used to living in,and we were already bred by our own upbringing..we were not a gang,there was only 4 or 5 of us...this was 1994..as time past things changed...most of every one frome mapplewood is family,aint no snitches from the dub,if so provide the papper work..that would be available to the public..im not a gangbanger so mapplewood cant be a gang...because im mapplewood.....im from 3000 miles from mapplewood..but when i moved there it was born...were family,how can we be a gang when there is no other gangs around to bang on....yes it is true my family is deep...now you can go back to talking bull#$%^ and tough guy talk....mw

I don't know enough about Corey D murder but it seems that if 3 people were with him and there was a concealed weapon and lying and obstruction of justice that maybe one of them did it and the other two know it

What they did was ruin a once beautiful area with their wanna be gang. They wrote MW all over the place broke things and brought a very unsavory group into our neighborhood. Not one of them amounted to anything but bad. And I don't think one of them could fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Didn't the one that was murdered grow up in the Maplewood area Some people say he was a nice kid growing up

We all know what can happen to a "nice" kid Some get the idea that they are mighty mouse in order to feel like they are in control even if it is a false sense of power I suppose the threat of that being challenged makes then they go get a gun to reinforce their sense of power/control

Anyone Is intelligent enough to know that people don't have to watch soaps and can go to a web site to get a summary in writing Hacking into someones activity on line isn't your right though I suppose because you can't see beyond your own burger bag you don't realize that someone is watching you watch other people.

Imagine, Mdubs started as just a group of us from Maplewood that were friends. We played football and "off the wall" together, and when we got to middle/high school some of us went down the wrong path. Some of us got back on the right path, the others, well they're doing what they want to do.

I remember when we first started doing the handshake, EVERY younger kid wanted to do it too. Now they all want to be gangbangers and live life the easy way. Shame. I still see the few that went down the wrong path, and well say hi, shoot the shit and reminisce, but its just different now. This city turned to shit quickly.

BTW, I will always rep MW, they were my fam when it all started...But i do not endorse the violence and drug game these young cats are getting into...

I know it's bad taste to be raising this on a forum but the fact that this case isn't solved really bothers me as a resident.

Can anyone factually tell me the motive to this? I don't think it was drugs.... did it have something to do with his older brother who was just released from jail?

Retaliation? for what? and is the suspect from malden or up north where this kid used to live?
