If anyone goes it's Correnti.
Even the Town Employees, are tired of his two faced actions.
People haven't forgotten his wanting to give his buddy the Assesor a $25,000.00 pay raise. Screw the DPW guys that have taken the big hit with the budget, take care of your buds. Watch how he tries to low ball the new Town Manager, he's a piece of work.
They also haven't forgotten his actions on firing the Billerica's Conservation Commissioner who was State Commissioner of the year.
This is the guy who loves to tax as much as possible. He made Montouri's life miserable. He's the reason either Montouri or the Swampscott Manager will be in Tewksbury next month and not in Billerica.
This guy is just pain MEAN. If anyone goes it's him.
Wow! Marky, there onto you.

Just wait till the voters get the tax increases the Assessor will need to recomend to the BOS in three weeks.

Then we will see how people feel about over-rides and the tax and spend policies of Correnti.

You time is short, have a good time!!!

Insider "Nice Try" won't give up. Let me understand this. EVERY LINE ITEM in the budget is reviewed and voted upon at Town Meeting. These budgets are crafted by the Town Manager and Fincom (with public hearings). So, if Correnti or anyone else was pissin' through money like a drunken sailor, wouldn't YOU'RE elected representatives vote it down? Stop playing the blame game here. Your political vendetta is tiring. You're true colors are obvious. Where was the leadership of Lombardo this past year? What plans and alternatives did he put forth to rein in spending? Zippo. What plans did Rosa put forth to rein in spending? Zippo. But continue to point the blame. They've got the majority sinec last April. What have they done to rein it in? They drove out the Manager. Rosa is busy trying to tear apart a neighborhood by splitting a lot. He's busy taking care of his cronies. Lombardo is grandstanding everywhere angling for Bill's job. And Billerica is coming up short. THAT'S WHERE THE PROBLEM IS, MY FRIEND. Your identity is obvious. But all your postings do is demonstrate your cowardice.

It does seem that certain selectmen just want to argue with others on the board. There is no teamwork to address issues so the whole town suffers. Time for change.

__________

Now let me get this straight, The BOS has no control over the budget!

The BOS doesn't give goals and objectives every year.

Since your buddy Correnti has been there, the town is the only town in the State, probably the universe that has TWO dispatching systems. How much money in salaries and benefits does this cost. Why did he and his cohords agree to start this stupid system. Why hasn't he ever stood to control spending.

At least Rosa had the guts to try and stop the old 3 amigos from giving their buddy a $25,000.00 pay increase. At least Rosa tried to get taxes reduced, everytime Rosa tried Correnti not only voted against but tried to Make Rosa look stupid for actually trying to help the taxpayers.

It sure nice to try and blame Town Meeting, when you know damn well Town Meeting tries to slow spending, but everytime the Town Employees and the other Selectmen vote it down.

So stick you head and brain in the sand, you more than most know your are full of bull.

If the debt exclusion goes down it will because Selectmen like Correnti have bled the homeowners dry. They will stand for no more taxes.

As our web page says "a little bit of politics, a little bit of news, a lot of sarcasm”. Meaning we will take on any issue, not necessarily in an objective fashion we will let our feelings be known, and we will not always be politically correct.
We will not shy away from any guest regardless of their point of view but it will be a fair discussion of the issues. We will not ambush or belittle anyone’s viewpoint. With Tony representing the Right and Peter and Jimmy representing the Left (yes, it takes two of them to match wits with Tony), we expect to mix things up in future shows.
Please feel to share show ideas.
Show is great. If the rest are like the first, and these 3 keep it up, it will be worth watching. Heard that this week will be about the Parker School. Should be interesting.

The bit at the end is great. Keep the humor.

Please don't encourage the egos of these TV stars. They barely fit through the doorway as-is!

Yo "Nice Try" -- you're comments on the dispatchers is interesting although somewhat inaccurate. First off, Correnti didn't start the system. But, YES, Rosa and Lombardo are absolutely in favor of dismantling the system and having one central dispatch system. You're wrong again on the tax issue-Town Meeting has continually voted against Rosa's dumb ass proposal. You seem to imply town employees control town meeting-that's far from the truth. But even if it is-YOU have YOURSELF to blame. Just vote them out. You don't let your animus and delusions stop your BS. But your buds are in control of the Board so what have they done? Zippo. Where's their financial plan to pull us out? They have none.

I'm back-was out of town on business. Anything new with the bag job Manager selection? I heard the people in Maynard Town Hall were happy to get rid of him. He's a spender and they're worried about their jobs. But the fix was in here. Got to hand it to the "3 Blind Mice" - they followed their marching orders without question. They were told to vote for Curran and they stuck together and did just that. Right now even that big tax and spend Montuori is looking better than Curran. My brother tells me Rosa is insisting that he'll get Curran to consolidate 911 - and layoff the Fire Dispatchers . I'll be watching that unfold.
