OK .. here's yet another good one. It seems like the only time parking laws are enforced is when these $4 an hour losers ( the ticket guys ) are running around when everyone is sleeping and tagging cars. The city loves the winter parking rules , obviously ,'cause it's yet another way to rake in revenue. The street I live on becomes one-side parking during the winter months, 24 hours a day, 6 months a year, which is ludicrous. But it seems that you'll only get a ticket , when these parking enforcement guys are on duty, which , is not 24 hours a day. So the point is , why have a law if you cannot enforce it. Oh .. also , there are no street signs posted , so , if you are from outside the city , and do not know the ridiculous 24 hour one-side parking rule , you'll get a ticket if you ( GOD forbid ) park on the wrong side. Seem unfair ? You bet it's unfair .... and un-just. Seems like the city would rather not have signs so it can tag unsuspecting people who are parking on the street temporarily. I urge everyone out here to fight any and every ticket issued where there are no signs posted. You will win your fight. Oh, and don't fall for the .. " How 'bout paying half of the fine Mr. Citizen ...?
Don't PAY any of it, you're not responible!
If the city says you are responsible, take it to a higher level. Maybe the tax-paying citizens should have a say in how they would like the winter parking rules, instead of them being dictated to us.
Have a fun winter folks! And keep sending in those bright orange envelopes for the next 6 months. The city hacks love opening them.

How about parking on the right side of the street instead of getting a ticket. Just a thought.

Is it about following directions? What about when tow companies illegally park on a residential street overnight? Is it a matter of can't follow directions or WON'T follow directions In addition to towing as a result of a break down or accident, these companies are called to tow illegally parked vehicles. Does anyone believe that the tow companies should have a special priveledge to illegally park and does anyone think that it sets a bad example? And as far as parking enforcers, I would think if they have worked for the City for a number of years, like decades, they get paid more than $4 per hour, its probably more than $20 per hour.

I bet if you legally park you won't get a ticket. I bet if you apply for a parking job you get it.
I bet if you take your medication you'll feel better.

I think if a person is objecting to someone illegally parking a tow overnight on their street, they should have a right to complain about it without someone saying they need to take their meds or alleging they spend all day on a computer. What I think can happen is if there is an access issue, the tow truck can be sued for unlawful discrimination and if it is true what some of these posts say that the police aren't doing anything about it, then they can be charged with aiding and abetting. Maybe then there will be a stop to political favors by the City of Malden. There is the reason why a company would boldly park their company vehicle on a residential street without any regard for the residents whatsoever. And the residents should not be beholden to the City of Malden, either, just like the city doesnt care about them.

to Am I the Only One's post, what about the parking enforcemnet or lack thereof? Why are company vehicles such as tow trucks, allowed to park overnight on a residential street when it is against the law? Im not the only one who questions this.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
