the junk store on the highway.

has anybody been in the junk store that is suppose to be on the highway just outside of arlington? well, i know the people that run it,debra neal and danny boyd.do not go there.i have known them for about two years.he works at the carwash by walmart in mayfield and she digs through the trash there to find stuff to sell at the store.most of the stuff they are selling is stuff that people have thrown away.she digs it out,cleans it up some and then tries to sell it at the store.

duh? Maybe that's why they call it junk.??

that is kind of tacky and alittle gross.who would want to dig through trash.there is no telling why the stuff was thrown away in the first place.maybe whoever threw it away had something contagious and then she comes along,digs it out and tries to sell it.that's just disgusting!!!!

Gosh, sounds like a smart couple. Practicing "green" living and helping people acquire stuff at a reduced price to what they would pay for new and they don't even have to do the dumpster diving or the cleaning to get it.

I'll be looking for the store next time I'm passing through.

If you are talking about Dollar or More in Cunningham, you are badly mistaken. It is run by Debbie Neal and Danny Boyd, and the stuff is not "picked thru garbage." I've been in there, have you? And, do you even care that folks are trying to 1) make a living, and 2) consumers are trying to save money and shop locally.

Here's another comment for Just Wondering regarding the slanderous remark about Debra Neal and Danny Boyd allegedly running a "junk store" near Arlington. Recently, I spoke with Debra Neal and told her of your remarks here on Topix. We both agreed this is grounds for a lawsuit. Care to respond?

just wondering may not care enough to say anything but i have afew questions for 'jkwrites'.like how well do you know debra neal?are you friends outside of the store or is that the only place you see each other? it's not really wise to defend someone unless you know them personally for years.
if she is the same one that i knew the 'just wondering' may know her a little better then you think.i went to school with a girl who's mother's name was debra neal and i really felt sorry for her after i visited her at home the one and only time that i did.i will not say what my friend's name is because she has gone threw enough with her mother and has recently lost a close family member that meant the world to her.
but, like i said my friend lived in a tiny trailor that was totally cluttered to the point where you could barely walk through it.the only clean room in the whole place was my friend's room.the place was cluttered because her mother refused to throw most of the stuff away.i am not talking about thinks like old jewelry,pictures,newapaper articles,stuff that people keep around because they kinda mean something from the past.i'm talking about years worth of magazines,tv guides,stuff that people ordinarily throw away when they are no longer useful.i didn't really understand this til i started watching the show 'horders'.that's exactly what my friends mother was.she just couldn't make herself throw trash away.
the last i heard from my friend she was in foster care because her mother didn't want to pay the court cost for her daughter missing school so she signed her rights away.
so, like i said.i do not know if this is the same woman and i am not making a special trip to a silly little junk store to find out. chances are she's probably not.my point is, unless you truely know someone really well it doesn't pay to threaten someone that may actually know what they are talking about with a slander suit.unless you have solid proof that just wondering is lying and the debra neal woman is telling the truth 100% i would just stand on the sidelines and watch for awhile before i made a decision.it takes awhile before someone shows what they are really like.
i didn't post this to start an arguement or to get threaten with a law suit,i'm just stating my opinion and experience.

'just wondering' may have more important thigs to do but right now i have some free time so i'll respond.
1. do you have a really close friendship with this debra person or do you just know her from the store?
2. what proof do you have that there may not be a tiny bit of truth in what j.w. said? i mean, maybe j.w. know something about this debra person the rest of us do not.
3.do you really come all the way from little rock to shop around cunningham or is that just where you isp is from?
