A Fellow Officer of mine was the one who initiated this whole investigation and charges on the inmate Dan Evans, I Believe he deserves all the credit. If not for his hard work, persistance and extreme Passion for his job, this inmate would have succeded in his task to "get Rid of his girlfriend." but does the Sheriff's department acknowelege him in any way? NO. He was the one who took extreme caution in handling this situation, and did the right thing by questioning the inmate, reporting to his superiors, monitoring this inmates actions and statements, without any regard to himself,or the danger it would put him because of retaliation from the inmate or other inmates as well in while working inside the Cook County Jail. Does anybody think about guys like him?
