To all my fellow friends, family and associates of Wilcox County, I am responding to this deeply sadden and severeely concerned with the safety a welfare of all of you. Eventhough I no longer reside in Wilcox County but I am still concerned because if this establishment is extinguished an extreme amount of people will be in jeopardy!! I realize it may not be at the accepted standard one may desire but realize people that something is better than nothing. During a recent visit back, I was appauled to the fact that not only the Post Office was closed but the Health Center was closed as well.....what shocked me the most was when I inquired about what happened no one could tell me anything!! Being only 32 years old, I could remember a time when a sense of ownership was valued and there was a collective effort in maintaining a community. I have one simple question and it is where did those values go? Ladies and Gentlemen it is time to wake up and take ownership and stop making excuses because we are living in a day and age where you can't let opposition overcome the prosperity of hope and the desire to live among common men!
