Public Lounge. Great place to eat in Roxbury. Cool, with-it type lounge, friendly and just enough casual to make you feel really comfortable. Great people running it. Food is their 2nd speciality after wonderful cocktails, try their seasonal specials. Great light supper fare, unique, using local meats, produce and cheeses. My husband & I visit a couple times a year from the Westcoast and really enjoy the atmosphere. Wish there was a Public Lounge in our town. Prices $-$$.

Been looking for a Pastrami sandwich,kosher pickles,and Matzo ball soup .Monticello used to have these great places.Other than the Bagel store,I hope its still there,its hard to find.
Blanches dinner was/is great. |

Fanes Family deli in roxbury IS THE BEST. Clean and wonderful service.

The best food comes from places that buy local. So Peekamoose Restaurant and Slow Down Food Co are tied for number one. Lucky Dog has a cafe now where they use their local veggies and they have an amazing cook specializing in vegetarian. Fable - the on farm restaurant in East Meredith at Stone and Thistle serves saturday dinners mostly under a 100 mile meal and lots of under 20 yard ingredients.

1 This landmark is a place you will go back to time and time again. The food is out of this world and the people that I have met there are just great. It is a great catskill expierence to have lunch or dinner there. I have to say, it is most likely Sullivan Countys BEST cafe/tavern. Try it, you will not be disappointed. The owners Krissy & Ed have bent over backwards to win your appreciation. |

The Post Office in Rock Hill Ny processed my passport in 5 Minutes. Great service to the community. Check em' out!
