Rick has become reclusive. Paranoia has set in. He locked the boys out of the house the other day. And he is walking in the night again.

how can one person be disliked by a whole town and then want to run for city counsel.is it that he is that airagent or is he just that stupid.ir i were disliked by a whole town i would leave and trie to stsrt over some where else.but hthen again you still have to know to your nose out of other peoples buss.

Looks like the local jerk is at it again. He wants the Village Board minutes printed a week after the meeting. Know-nothing doesn't realize they are not official minutes until after the board OKs them and that must be at the next meeting. The board my want to correct errors.

NARCISSISTIC SOCIOPATH and Rick Talford: Rick warps reality to suit his needs. Narcissist is all about image and ego. He will say anything to make himself sound good for the moment, even if it contradicts what he said the day before. The malignant narcissist goes a step further and devalues, criticizes and nitpicks other people. A narcissist is lazy. He is all mouth. He gets others to do his work. He steals the credit. If anything goes wrong, he always has a scapegoat ready to blame. A narcissist only exist in the present. He has gaps in his memory and doesn’t know what he did yesterday (it was a lie, and lies don't have real memories attached).He also can't plan for the future. A sociopath is an extreme narcissist with a sadistic, jealous, vindictive dark side. They have a need to hurt people. They will rationalize and justify getting revenge on people. He doesn’t communicate and talk out problems, but he has a NEED to believe others are malicious so that they don't have to feel guilty when he gets revenge.

The plot: The quiet pleasant town of Elmwood is attacked by a narcissistic egoist intent on destroying the harmony of the peace-loving village and scandalizing the villagers. The story follows the battle of the fine citizens as the diseased invader wreaks his havoc. In the end-- good triumphs over evil. I don't think the author however, realizes that it costs money to publish a book. Lots of money. He might be better served by getting a job, hunting for a house for his family to live in, and to quit using the taxpayers money on such foolishness. Whatever, it is pretty hard to author a book when you cannot write a decent sentence and all one can write is a rambling of unassociated ideas that don't make sense most of the time.

Rick Talford is on a quest. He has "tunnel vision". If his efforts were redirected, he would not be about to loose his home. Take care of number one first, then attack others...

I have been reading about the evils of Talford for well over a year now and in the entire time he has been accused of being "almost on the streets". When is that going to happen?

Usually when one writes a book he has some writing skills. Mr. Talford's writing skills are non-existent. Publishers usually want money up front before they will even publish so much as a cook book. Then the author needs to guarantee a certain no. of copies sold, so most people have to buy about one thousand copies themselves before they will even talk to you. Unless Mr. Talford has a hidden stash of money from a law suit, or some shady deal, he will not be able to afford a publishing. That is, unless he uses money earmarked for family living costs.

Rick's publisher is the copying machine at the local library..I hope they have a lot of paper.

Talford says he is writing a book on his life in Elmwood. He already did that two years ago when he wrote "Our Life in Elmwood". This will only be a repetition of that piece of junk which was filled with lies. I don't think anyone would waste their time reading it. Poor man. He just cannot figure it out.

Talford is on the march again. The infamous Elmwood Citizen is setting up a smoke screen once more. Seems as tho the kids are telling they are about to lose their house. One really does feel sorry for the children, having to live a life where the father is filled with antagonistic rage against everyone he comes in contact with. As the boys get older, maybe they are there already, they will see through him, and realize just how sick he is. One of these days the BIG TRUCK will come and he is hoping to detract from the inevitable. He better get out and look for a place to live, instead of worrying about his non-existent book. A person has to leave the house and look,however.

Is it just coincidence that, ever since he got his much deserved butt whipping, Rick has been keeping to himself?
If there is a correlation, it's too bad it didn't happen to him sooner, because it has been so much more peaceful since he's holed himself up at home.

Questions for "THE ELMWOOD CITIZEN": Tell us the real news. What happened at the school the other day? Why was your wife taken away by the county sheriffs? Why were you not there? Did your son really attempt suicide? All the citizens in this community should be informed of your deceitful actions toward the village board and the clerks. After all, you are a candidate for public office. Just one time tell us the truth about your foreclosure and how you are able to live here free from paying any taxes. Why should you have the same rights as others when you are living a lie?

The Talford situation on Shaw ave is looking good for the neighbors. The moving van in Talford's driveway created quite a stir. But, it was just another hope dashed on the rocks. Rick is just moving some of his junk to storage in Knapp. He is hoping that Obama will come through for him with a bail out of the mortgage. So, to the neighbors on Shaw, do not get your hopes up too high. WESTCAP has come to the rescue.

Well folks on Shaw your hopes once again, we turned down. Talford screwed the system and pulled the, "O please feel sorry for me, look at me and my family, I have nothing," card once again. If you've been watching like the rest of town you would have seen the moving truck in the driveway and several trips taken from the house. Well thats where it has stopped, and yes I too have heard that he had to go crying to WESTCap for help. Which I believe is a great organization for people that actually need it. I don't see why some people cannot get off their lazy asses and get a job to somewhat try to put some effort into saving your house. I for one am sick and tired of this BS. I work hard for what little I have, and I get by, by in the heck is this person having things handed to him and people always saving him. Where is the sheriffs office on this one. If this was back in the 50's and 60's the neighbors or the town would run these people out of town....

We should be getting another update on the "Elmwood Citizen". The Talfords have spent some money on new camera and recorder. Kristy was at the last village board meeting with this new technology. Soon we will have the news according to "Rick". It will be distorted and spun by one of the biggest trouble makers in the area. If this energy was used to get a job, he would not be getting ready to move out of town. This is the day that we are all waiting for..

To the good people of Elmwood; there is still hope. The end of the school year is near. With a little luck, the Talfords are counting the days the same as the students. The hold on their eviction will come to an end.
