Since this particular forum is based on people posting THEIR opinions with out accepting rebuttal or providing any factual backing to those opinions and anytime someone arrives with a differing opinion the 2 or 3 posters here clam up or simply
insult the person with who's counter post they object to, I am leaving. I won't bother to read, I certainly won't bother to post. The trolls can come back and post their silliness, Joanne can go on with her one sided opinions, the restaurants can all get slammed, everthing in Hernando County can get slammed and I won't give a rat's ass because nobody else reads this crap anyway.

As I see it you need only to right your slight differances with Joanne, one person I have no quarrel with, one I certainly would not defame.

I heartened when I saw that within perhaps a half hour of the quote you did again post...... take heart, topix is yours; be gentle with Joanne watch what you would post toward her, it could be, if mean spirited, return to haunt you.

You are wrong. This web page gets hundreds of hits everyday. People like me turn to it and look at it as a soap opera. I do find that you are basically
shoveling against the tide because these people are not well. If they were well they would have left the area years ago. I do understand that a lot of retirees paid cash for their Florida homes, but they obviously didn't get the advice of a good financial advisor who would have told them to put the money into investments. The return would have been greater than an aging home which they will be forced to die in because they will never be able to get the price they expect.

The hatred harbored by these people is carried onto other web sites. Check out "CITY DATA" and you will find the SAME person here making the SAME statements there. Its actually annoying. People are looking for good information and this person constantly slams everything about Florida. I caught one where they pounced on a local hopsital stating "they have a lot of infections there". What nonsense. The hospital in question is owned by one of the largest hospital management companies in the U.S.A.

I lived here 15 years. Yes, it's changed. Still changing. Becoming a more major area compared to 1995.

abcd and me got off to a weird start and if, it seems she didn't try so hard to spar, could have gone far on getting facts out. both of us are fact oriented. unfortunately we part ways since we express differently the formation of similar questions; i tried to elicite she demands,

often miscommunication is the problem...... but enough I stopped and will not again post; that is what she wants. biggest problem seems to be that even when I don't post I get blamed for some other idiots postings. hope that you and other readers realize that 'someone' even posted using my actual name, stolen from Brighthouse, and giving personal facts out (like candy kisses) in an effort to silence me.......

Hello aka. I came back to post a few things that I found out about yesterday and I am a little shocked myself. Learning that one of the posters here uses a different name on a different forum and posts the same trash against Florida is amazing to me. I can see limiting the anger to one outlet, but to take it to another, use more fake names, but still continue with the regular retoric where there too the person gets replies telling them they are wrong and the facts quoted are not correct. There you cant debate. You can make a comment on a posting, but not debate it as you can here.

Oh well, I dont know what else to say. I am lost for words. The shock of it all is too much for me I think.

I think I will just leave the forums alone altogether. They are too full of nut cases. I will stick with the forums and websites that deal with my business and let the people who have such hatred in their souls go on and burn it up. Its quite obvious that nobody is taking their tirades to heart. They are just venting to open space.

I came here to socialize and have some fun, maybe make friends.
That cannot happen here because of the lack of honesty of the users. Too bad.

And -aka- I will apologize to you for the personal information I posted on you. It wont happen again. My battle with you is over.
I learned something here. Be tolerant of others opinions even if I dont agree and even if none of it is true.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. You let them get you. Now that I am home we can get together and talk. You flipped out girl. I talked to our mutual friend and she told you about City-Data I see. I told you that poster was a whacko. They've been spouting off against all of Florida for a long time over there. It's amazing that they don't just quit because NOBODY agrees with them, NOBODY supports any of the positions. There is a poster now debating everything out of their computer. The 40 percent uninsured driver rate, the
bugs, the heat, the rain, you name the complaint and they are rebutting to it. It ain't you dearie, now is it? Anyway. It's getting late. I have a ton of things to do this weekend. Back to work Monday night. So I will call you Tuesday or so and perhaps we can see what kind of mood you're in. Say Hi to my bud.

Hey Hey Goldfarber. Good shot man. You are so on the money. As you well know, I've been here ALL my life. My parents came from Port Richey. Moved up when they started building in Spring Hill. We've never actually lived in Spring Hill, but we are like 2 blocks away.

Lot has changed since 85. Lot has changed since the 50's and early 60's too. It's totally different a place. There was nada nothing zero zip in the area.
Then when Mackel Brothers came in, whammo. Housing city! Thinking of JC Penny, a couple of Targets,
Wal Marts all over the place, just about anything you can imagine, right in Spring Hill. More than one too. Choices. They were dreams.

These folks who complain don't know how good they've got it. Should have been here when it was nada nothing zero zip. A much different place indeed.
