La Center shooting investigation continues | Jan. 30,

Just out of curiosity, what are the legal implications for the newspapers calling the guy a prowler. The papers are stating that as a fact, but apparently there is a strong possibility that he was lost, and not actually posing a threat to anyone.

Realy there has been 3 people lost thier jobs good people as the young man that was shot pecause he was lost. larsen hasent even seen the inside of a jail yet[[ most people would of had to bond out or stay in jail till he could prove killing a person was just

Is ther any REAL EVIDENCE that the guy was really trying 2 break into this man`s house? R was he just one of those people that is trigger happy. why couldn`t he have just stayed in his house & waited for the police to come & take care of the situation, insteat of take the Law iinto his own hand`s ..98% of the population would have been arrested, so Y is he treated so diffrently?

I took training for a concealed weapon permit. One of the first things we were taught is when a person should or shouldn't shoot. To me, Mr. Larsen's shooting was not justified and the police should investigate further.He seemed to have gotten too hyper based on his wife's screams about a "hulk" of a man in the yard. Reading about Mr. Parnel, we was a very small man (5'7" and 125 pounds) and unarmed, no less. Unfortunately, Mr. Parnel is not able to explain the situation. Maybe he was lost. If someone was trying to get into my house or had gotten into my house, I would consider that I am being threatened and would feel justified to shoot. But if they were in the driveway, the police would be called while I would wait to see what the person was doing. Mr. Larsen seemed to have "jumped the gun" literally. And now a good person who was well cared about is dead.

Police: Please investigate this more. There seems to be no justice being done. Consider how far from the house Mr. Parnel was shot...It doesn't sound like he was trying to break in and was several yards from the house. Consider if Mr. Larsen might have been drinking... Consider what Mr. Parnel may have been doing. Just investigate this more.
