Pulling out all the stops for kids' site

TROPHY CLUB -- When Betty Donlin retired in April, she had more time to devote to the gardening she loves. Along the way, she did some double-duty landscaping.
A flagstone patio with a sturdy stone bench not only is an attractive accent to a corner of her yard, but it has become a place for school kids to relax as they wait for their buses.
Donlin said she was tending to her irises and daylilies in September when she noticed youngsters standing in the street waiting for buses near her home at Wilshire and Carnoustie drives. Read more
