Wendee Long and Randy McKellar are the best suited canidates. Wendee for her expertise in a 5A school district she knows schools from the inside. McKellar for his past years experience and knowledge.

We must be supportive Argyle parents and stop judging people and positions. We are not a small town of hate, but should be supporting each other. The school board has major challeges ahead and sometime decisions are tough, but they need community support not community bashing!
Not so sure

Could you clarify why you think those two are the best suited? I think an argument could be made that Ms Long is going to err on the side of the district and the teachers, which isn't always what's best for kids. Just last year the teachers got a salary increase which may now put the district in a position to cut kids' programs.

What do you say about Mr. McKellar's prior board service?

What are the pros/cons of Mr. Elsey?

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
