They (GM) cite studies showing that the price of hydrogen can be brought down to the equivalent of $2 to $3 a gallon of gasoline using today's technology but producing at a higher volume.
What fuel do these GM officials suggest using to produce hydrogen? Natural Gas!. Natural gas prices are going through the roof! When oil pices go up natural gas follows! GM will try anything to justify their reliance on cheap to build oversized vehicles. |

Who Killed the Electric Car? New Documentary Looks at the Mysterious Disappearance of the EV-1
http://tinyurl.com/ysmbvn Friday, April 13th, 2007 General Motors has been at the center of one of the nation's largest controversies over clean emissions-cars. In 1996 the company introduced the EV-1 electric car in California and Arizona. Hundreds of the electric cars were soon on the road. Then they all disappeared. The mystery behind their disappearance is the subject of the documentary “Who Killed the Electric Car?” We’re joined by the film’s director Chris Paine, and Chelsea Sexton, a former GM employee who worked on the EV-1 electric car. http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl... |

THE HOUSE OF ROTHSCHILD / FINAL WARNING: A HISTORY OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER http://tinyurl.com/auhdl
No other name has become more synonymous with the Illuminati than the Rothschilds. It is believed that the Rothschild family used the Illuminati as a means to achieving their goal of world-wide financial dominance. Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1743-1812) was born in Frankfurt-on-the-Main in Germany, the son of Moses Amschel Bauer, a banker and goldsmith. Their name was derived from the 'red shield'('rotschildt') that hung over the door of their shop, and had been the emblem of revolutionary Jews in Eastern Europe. A few years after his father's death, he worked as a clerk in a Hanover bank, which was owned by the Oppenheimers. He became a junior partner, and soon left to take over the business started by his father in 1750. He bought and sold rare coins, and later succeeded in buying out several other coin dealers. http://www.the7thfire.com/new_world_order/fin... |

Judged:
1 GM takes massive amounts of electricity from Power Companies like LIPA, at 17 cents a kilowatt hour and uses it to convert water into its components, Hydrogen and Oxygen. They then use this as fuel to power the car making the whole exercise one so expensive that the fuel costs double what the gasoline would have been and the fossil fuels are still used to power the car only LIPA gets to burn them , and pollute the air with them, instead of the car. So the car is clean because we let LIPA do all its polluting instead ? And any of this makes any sense because ..????? Are Americans really this stupid n gullible ? Of course they are they elected George W. Bush ! |

How about a plug-in fuel cell vehicle? Would'nt that extend past 150 miles? How about the electrolysis of sea water (H2O) with solar or nuclear or wind power? How about with a combo of them? How about stepping on it already??!!

Americans had the wake up call back in 1979 with the long gas lines and the Iranian hostage crisis.

While you don't save money on gas, it sounds like its better for the environment.

Why can't we have a pure electric car like the EV1 that GM shredded in the 70's. Watch the documentary, "Who Killed the Electric Car." The people who had them loved them and they were renewable power plugged in to your own house outlet. I think that is the problem. They were self sufficient.

Neither hydrogen nor electricity is a source of energy.
Both are an intermediate step. On Long Island electric is generated by BURNING OIL or NATURAL GAS. In other areas of the country electricity is generated by BURNING COAL Wind and solar exist but remain insignificant. Hydropower or nuclear are actual alternatives. Some of Long Island’s electricity is imported from other areas using all of the above means of power generation. Hydrogen can currently only be made by BURNING Natural Gas or consuming vast amounts of electricity which in turn is generated by BURNING oil or gas. This conversion process is costly and inefficient. It does have the single advantage of moving the source of pollution from the vehicle to a possibly more remote power plant. The answer is efficient right sized vehicles. Efficiency does NOT require being small but it does require being aerodynamic. Efficiency also requires quality design and manufacturing. |

If you want a clean, energy efficient car go see your local Toyota Dealer and tell him you want to buy a 'Prius'. The GM fuel cell SUV is a good example of GM trying very hard to divert your attention away from the fact that GM has no vehicles to compete with the Toyota's, and probably never will. The last time GM tried to sell a car to compete with Toyota it was called Chevette, or Vega, unless you were foolish enough to have bought one, and then youd have called it a POS !

This is the correct approach. As any feedstock based fuel is only subject to supply and demand manipulation and hydro is far too expense...The EV-1 outperformed the 300Z in o-60. So why where every one of them crushed??? |
