His insane backwoods excuse was they are used for drug dealer protection and dog fighting. If you are a true animal lover do not spend one dime in this town, there are much nicer places around. Did you stop watching NFL today as they promote Michael Vick and his millions in salary and was given a free pass instead of doing hard time? I have several of this breed and do not blame it on the flea market. I instead purchased 2K in privacy fence to protect them from the neighbors and keep them safe and dry indoors and include them in our family as our children. The flea market is less to blame for this than NFL agreeing to sign this dumn shit back for millions to play and I bet no one thinks of that when they ate their chicken wings and drank their beer today.

The instances of animal abuse are disgusting. Not providing water is against the law. Next time I see it the police will be involved.

Been researching Flea Markets to do my first experience as being a Flea Market Vendor. Dog Days is the most convient to me and a I stumbled across this thread. Almost complete wrote it off after reading all the negativity but the convienence won out and I gave it a shot. 3 months later, all I can say is... the owner is a good and fair person, the vendors are fantatic and many I consider friends. The customers are down to earth and honest people. I have not once had an item come up missing and it would not be hard to take something when it gets busy. I find the customers to be good, honest and caring moms and dads looking for a good deal just like anyone else would do. I will admit that I have seen a lot of pit bulls being walked throughout the market but I have yet to see one be aggressive. I have also yet to see a single customer act like they are uncomforable when the dogs are being walked by them. So far, I have witnessed that they act and behave like any other dog... love attention, like to be petted and are curious.
So, I am glad that I gave it a shot. I don't discount the situations explained from the past as there is probably some truth to it but it seems to me that ... that was the past and life seems to different now.

I have a police scanner and I have noticed a spike (increase) in crime in Ardmore, AL/TN. Anyone else notice this?

Mike wrote: Drove down from Chattanooga to shop the 1000 dealers set up at Dog Days over the Labor Day Weekend. JOKE. 100 dealers maybe if you count the yard sale on the way in to the farm. Wasted a day and a full tank of gas to buy a $10 skillet and see some pretty chickens. The best time to go to Dogs days is the holiday weekends the vendors are setup and there are quite a few of them 1000 is a bit over the top. The other one that is a few miles from it is on the thrid weekend of the month and it Muscle Shoals Flea Market started one year ago and it is growing

I moved to ardmore a week ago, went to Dog Days the second day I was here.. Its a joke..I think? Lol I'm not sure all I seen was 2 areas of ppl selling stuff, the people in the first field then I went across a bridge into another field and that was it. Is there more to it, did I miss it or is it really like parking is 90 acres and the people selling only takes up 10 acres lol. Idk I'm only 19 lol maybe I'm just too young to be interested in that stuff. My boyfriend wasn't too please either. Also I need sum advice on good jobs around the area

what a joke. went to dog days flea market labor day, had eaten sonething there that killed my stomac. Had to go to the top of the hill to a gas station to use the restroom, all of them there were out of order. 50 thousand people came to shop and there are restrooms to use. Is this agaist the law. Ask the owner about the restroom and he said shit happens.
