Congressional candidates headed on ANWR "fact-finding tour" - KTVA

My Doyon Corporation would benefit from the Exploration and be the first to drill there and provide the much needed revenues for our Corporation,and with the Price of Regular at all time high, I am supporting exploration there and get off State assistence.

Sarah James does not own ANWR or speak for all Alaskans. I've also spent a lot of time in ANWR (hunting) and have spent 21 years on the north slope. The pictures that are displayed on all of the greenie ads are so misleading as to border on idiocy. The proposed drilling area is nowhere near mountains. I am also an Alaskan and I disagree with her totally, as do most other residents of this state. It's time for her to move on and quit being a mouthpiece for the greenies. She probably means well, but is very misinformed.

BP/EXXON are not Alaskan, Alaska has the potential to have it's own Drilling/rigging Company IF these People in the nutshell have the courage to say that we have enough money to have/build our OWN DRILLING/RIGGING COMPANY, Why are Alaskans paying the highest price for its own fuel?, We are continually being robbed, and Government knows it,$500.00 for a 100 gallons of stove oil,$1200.00 is not enough to cover all year, and jobs are getting scarce, People from the lower 48 should not be running the State for Us, let alone Steven's or Young, their crooked.

I love my culture and I am proud of it, but in my lifetime or in my grandchildrens', opening ANWR will happen. My suggestion to you learn as much as you can about the clean-up procedures and be a part of improving them if need be. Ensure your children and grandchildren are educated in the oil technology so they too can watch the land and be the voice for the tundra. Progress will happened, look where we are today. Become involved in the progess so that when a situation arises you become the one to depend on for the solution. Point that finger at yourself and ask yourself, how can I become part of the solution, if not me, than my children and grandchildren.
