Have you tried calling in about an animal that is acting strangely? Don't waste your time. Unless you are attacked, you will get no help.

Da gum folks. Catchem in a live trap, set them free on the Plaza! Or, just get rid of the dog or cat food that someone if not many people in the area have out.

Someone else was attacked by a fox this morning (Wednesday), this time over here in the Westwood area. Some neighbors apparently had to beat the thing off him or her, and Arcata PD is all over the place looking for it. It must know that the people in the blue uniforms are better armed than the neighbors were.

It's true, there was a fox acting sick at Piersons Park in Mckinleyvile a couple of weeks ago. Parents called authorities and they did nothing.

Of course the police won't go after the crazy foxes, if they caught them, Gallegos would just let them go. And the T-S story would be terrible.

killing foxes is not the solution. if you see one of these foxes that appear sick or 'crazy' as some of you have said, then call the humboldt wildlife care center. do not call the police. the police are just going to kill the animals, while the wild life care center can rehabilitate them.

It would be helpful to state what part of Arcata this happened in, for those of us who don't know where every street in town is.

Eep, surely you jest. Rabid animals can't be rehabilitated.

Normal small wild animals usually do not rush around attacking humans. That, and these attackers probably always test positive for rabies....

I read "Cujo" recently. It really lays out the rage a rabid animal feels for everything that moves, and for water itself.

Here is a sure fire way to stop Fox attacks. When you see a fox, shoot it.
Easy.

Fairly soon the only thing that will be left on earth to eat is humans.
At the rate we're going fish will be totally gone by the year 2055.

She wielded a baseball bat in hopes of killing the AUST FOX network. Cool, where's mine !
