I was totally against both projects. My idea for that property was to leave it agricultural like all the county is. I proposed a mega pork slaughtering center with rail tracks bring in millions of head of hogs for slaughter. It would have put Tipton on the map.

That building is there cause of Harlow, Carter, and Dolezal. chrysler screwed Tipton and left Tipton holding bag. jane Harper is the one who at least gave the bldg a chance at getting somebody in it. Cline wants to take credit when things are good with Abound, and when they're not, then its all Harper's fault.

I, along with many others, just see this ABOUND for what it is. We should be asking the laid off workers in Colorado, what they think is the future for this company. I think it was all a big charade for them to get the money from the government. Tipton better dig out the "FOR SALE" sign out again, cause it will be coming sooner than next year. Then all the people in this county will be responsible for taxes on that lemon out there.

The mayor and the city officials need to get in the "real world" on this matter, and get somone in that plant that need and wants to come in here. Why wait till next year to put the for sale sign out, Abound is not coming--the hand writing is already h ere, and they are in big trouble in Colorado. If we can see this now, why cant city hall??????

Nothing can be done now. About all I can say is, things will get much, much better for TC. If you have a home, don't sell it in todays market ;-).

I am a home owner in Tipton, and unless you know something major happening with that "lemon out there on 31", I just don't see anything positive on the horizon for Tipton or its taxpayers. I bet Harris Bank isn't happy at all!!
