Holy cow! No offense to Hindus and other religious types, but this gay marriage stuff is usually brought out at election time. Now it seems like a year round cause. Why would any person gay or straight want to tie himself/herself to a pack of laws designed to protect property and family? Love, yeah tell it to Heather and George and the rather dim ninty seven year old who married Anna Nicole and maybe even that broad who took car of Groucho Marx. Yeah, as the disc jockey said one day while playing Tab Hunter's song Young Love,"Are the're any other kind?" Is marriage really right for gay people or even nongay people? One thing for sure, the issue is boung to get people upset. If O'Malley wants to get elected again, he cannot rationally suppoet gay marriage which probably explains his quietly letting progay laws pass unhindered into the books.

Yeah, I think O'Malley has been stealthy on the progay issues but he's done little to make people believe he's moderate since becoming governor and he seems to have backed the wrong horse in supporting Hillary Clinton.

If O'Malley gets reelected it will be because the GOP can't come up with an appealing moderate candidate to oppose him.

Do these people realize that if there were only gay couples they would not be here today. This sure could reduce the population over a period of time. Jim, it would not surprise me if that did not become a law also - marry your pet LOL.

Yes, gay people DO understand the process of biological reproduction GJMoore. Do bigots like yourself also realize that homosexuality is a natural occurrence? Do you think people choose to live a life where they have to deal with ignorance and prejudice on a daily basis? Clearly not.
Also, do you somehow think that if gay and lesbian people aren't able to get married, that they are going to magically become straight? Because for some reason you are trying to say that if gay couples get married that there will be a population reduction. However, whether or not gay people get married, they're STILL gay. And here's some more news for you...homosexuality is nothing new. It has been around forever and clearly humans have had no problem with overpopulating the Earth.

I sure do hope gay marriage is legalized. There are many loving gay relationships, which do include families. It is so hypocritical of our nation to deny rights for gays, yet let heterosexual people marry the same day they meet one another!

Last time I checked two men can not come together and make a baby neither can two women... therefore same sex relationships are WRONG! Although some women cannot get preganant according to the "medical world" with their faith, the "medical world" has been proven wrong. None the less, a baby can not be made without an egg from a Natural Born Women and sperm from a Natural Born Man.... Hence getting a sex change do not make you that sex, you are still what you were when you were born because the internal organs remains...the genetic markers remains.

Oh, it continues, 19:12-29 God ultimately destroyed the cities. Did He do that for the mere fun of it, or was it because of the outcry of their SIN. Homosexuality is not natural... It's a choice. God do no make mistakes, saying being gay is natural are saying God made a mistake..... The disgusts is not with the person but the sin they are in. I pray for your forgiveness. Pray and search the word of God to see the truth and that the devil has you blinded.

So you are clearly saying that marriage is for the sole purpose of reproduction. Using your logic then, should we not allow heterosexual marriages for people who are unable to give birth or simply do not desire children?
Not to mention the fact that marriage is not a God given right or something that was created by Christianity like so many people here like to claim.

Well Jim, can I be the best man when you marry the cat?. And can I bring my dog? Do you and the cat have registery? If not, what gifts would you like, new leash for cat, boxers for the cat or bikini? Do you need a catering firm for the reception? How about a divorce lawyer if things do not world out? You see, Jim, there are a lot of things that go into a marriage. If two women get married and they want kids, one of them can go the old sperm donator route. Two men now adoption. Man and cat? Well I suppose Old Alley Tom, could donate some sperm if you get my drift. Anyway I have fallen in love with a cow and...the bull in the field is putting up a fight.

Put it in a referendum and let the people decide. This should not be decided in the legislature.

Why do you assume you can judge a loving relationship based on if they can procreate or not? Gays are naturally born as well. Gays are not seeking sex changes. Have you got anything else?
