Jealous to become NAACP's new president, CEO

Mr. Jealous is very liberal and this is the direction he will take the NAACP supporting illegal immigration.

Blacks voting for Senator Barack Obama is voting for amnesty and citizenship to 20 million illegal aliens. Illegal immigration should be a very important issue to blacks, but blacks have lost their priorities and are not speaking out publicly on the illegal immigration issue. The Hispanics have out numbered blacks by 3 to 1 and their numbers are steady growing. Latinos/Hispanics are pushing their own agenda in this country to take the United States over with their large numbers and it doesn't include black or white citizens. It's already over for blacks, because we are a minority within a minority. Vote for Obama and he will give this country away by granting citizenship to 20 million illegal aliens, mostly coming from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Puerto Ricans are United States citizens, but for whatever reason, many Puerto Ricans are supporting citizenship and amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens, mostly Spanish speakers. Most Hispanics/Latinos identify with being of the white race and their birth certificates states white, not brown, Negroes, or colored. Hispanic is not a race, but culture. Many Hispanics have stated, they will not vote for a black man based on this race. Many Hispanics are voting for Senator Hillary Clinton base on her being of the "white race".

S. fighting for their rights as citizens, not illegal aliens. Hispanic groups and others are reaping the benefits our parents, grandparents, great grandparents fought and died for. Most Hispanics identify with being of the white race. Hispanics are not a race of people. Hispanics can be of any race.

The way I see it is that Blacks are there own worst enemy.I'm constantly seeing and hearing young blacks screaming and hollering about how "they" have been done wrong because of slavery, with this great big frown of rage across their face. What in the hell do "they" really know about slavery? Blacks are enslaving their own people right now all over certain parts of Africa. These same people,who prefer to be victims,will be talking slavery talk 200 years from now - at least their ancestors will!!

Does it not bother anyone else that there hasn't been a black woman named in as the president, CEO in the NAACP's history? I think this far more disturbing than whether Jealous is bi-racial. It just reminds me how sexist the NAACP continues to be. I think it's laughable the NAACP represents equality for people of color, but sexist when it comes to electing a female president.

Yes I knew who Cesar Chavez was and he didn't support illegal immigration. During the 50's and 60's many Mexican Americans didn't march in the streets with blacks, whites, and Jews, because most stated, this was not there fight. Mexican Americans birth certificates stated white, not colored or Negro. Mexicans are killing blacks in Los Angeles just for being black and trying to rid that city of blacks. Black traditional neighborhoods in Los Angeles like Watts, South Central, and Compton have been transformed into Mexican barrios as the Salvadorans have done here in Washington, D.C. Jamiel Shaw Jr. a 17 year old black man was gunned down in Los Angeles earlier this year by an illegal alien from Mexico just for being black. Most Hispanics/Latinos identified with the white race according to the United States census. I can assure you, I am a black man living in Washington, D.C. born and raised. Terry Anderson a black L.A. talk show host devotes his intire show to illegal immigration.

Let me say this, all Hispanics are not criminals or illegal aliens. Many are productive United States citizens. I feel that it is wrong for Latinos/Hispanics "NOT" to be against illegal immigration, cracking down on illegal aliens, and enforcing our immigration laws. If these were millions of blacks or whites coming from the Caribbean, Africa, or Europe, the majority of Hispanics would be for enforcing immigration laws. I am a black citizen with over 400 years of ancestry back to slavery in South Carolina. If these were millions of black Africans or black Caribbeans who broke U.S. laws by crossing our porous borders, I would want their behinds deported and U.S. immigration laws enforced. It's fine to say that Hillary is more electable but is now the time to split the factions even further? The Democratic party is a sometimes fragile coalition of various minority groups, and turning them against each other could have effects that last long past this election. Maybe that is just wishful thinking on the part of the Republicans, but it's something to watch closely. The GOP has been somewhat successful in using the gay marriage issue, for example, as a wedge issue to reduce support for Democrats among religious blacks and Hispanics. But that is nothing compared to the damage that an intra-party battle between Democratic feminists, whites, Hispanics, and blacks could do to the party.

I concur with your comment. A former CEO of the NAACP mismanaged money in a sexual harrassment suit by a female. The NAACP membership has fell off tremendously. You better quickly differentiate between Illegals and Mexican Americans such as myself. We too have contributed to this great nation not just Blacks and Whites. Who do you think is guarding our borders? Most of them are Mexican American Border Patrol Agents. Some have even gone to prison for doing their job. Remember Agent Compean? I can't remember the other agents name but he too is Mexican American. I come from a military family and my son is currently in the Corps defending this great nation and so are thousands of other Mexican Americans and other Latinos. Mr. Diego I concur with your statement. Many Puerto Rican and Mexican Americans have contributed to our country by serving in the military and being patriotic. On the issue of illegal immigration, I don't support it regardless of race.
