Legalize Marijuana!

Alas, Oklahoma is considering a bill that would make it illegal to smoke tobbacco cigarettes in your own vehicle now. I am very glad both of my parents are dead and buried now because when I was a child we got to ride in the back of an open pickup on Highway 66 (gasp) and my parents always had a drink or at a minimum at least a beer each setting between the seats and never even moved them when they were pulled over or asking for directions from a police officer. They even gave us kids sips of beer when we ran out of pop on vaction trips so we could quench out thirst. Nowadays they would be thrown in jail for child abuse. I am thinking Sweden is looking pretty good about now considering our shrinking rights here in USA.

hey right on there sage rider.. but i gotta say yea weed should b legalized well no it should b decriminalized. that way gov cant tax it. i think? but mm well if alcohol is legal than weed should b. even though i hate the way weed makes me feel. i hate the stuff. but isnt as dangerous as alcohol i believe

why not its not any worse then beer . at least if your high your not starting fight like you when your drunk.

Legalizing MJ would stop the illegal sell of MJ. I would put some dealers out of business, well at least those who deal in nothing but MJ. If it were legal the state would tax it an make a little money. I don't smoke the stuff, but have in my younger days. It is a pain killer, they could use it in pain meds,the use other kind of ilegal drugs in pain meds. Im believe in the future drugs will be legalized, so the government can the take control of it.

Mj and alchol are mind alterning drugs. Nothing is good for you when I messes with the mind. I drink for 30 years, quite 20 years ago, but man that alchol made me crazy at times. But thanks to God I am set free from being a drunk. But I feel it is fine to drink a beer from time to time but don' let it control you.

bigman there is a big difference in Marijuana and Alcohol. You drink to access and it is hours before you can safely do anything Marijuana effects wear fairly quickly. You can drink until you die in one night but you can't smoke enough to kill you in one night. Marijuana altho classified as a drug is not in the same league as Alcohol. Legalize it Tax it heavily and use the tax money for rehibilitation thats the way to go.

Do you know what California Kona Bud is? Probably not, How about Columbian Bud or Jamacian? In my time I as you call it Fired up some killer buds and yes I know more about it that you will EVER know and I am not very proud of that fact. I don't anymore but I still believe that a kid shouldn't be thrown in jail just because he has a marijuana cigarette of any kind. I also believe as your name implies it is you that are the joke.

Marijuana could be used for so many good things. YOu could make enough paper that you would never have to use trees for paper again. Compressed wood again preserving trees. Ethanol preserving the Earth. It's not just somthing they can make rope out of and they have Marijuana now that has little to no THC in it getting rid of the High. But the drug is a good pain killer for Cancer patients and Appitite enducer for aids patients.
Some of you people are not looking at the whole picture and all the Benefits.

i think it should be legal come on folks its a herb its god made there is nothing wong with lighting up a blunt it helps me to sleep and helps with the pain
