2-year-olds: crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside!

Don't "shoo" them, SHOOT THEM!

"Yes, why not put out, Coyote-food in areas where we share space?
If I ever live in such an environment, I certainly will." LOL! hahahahahahah, that kid in the yard IS COYOTE FOOD!!!! LOL!!! YOU'RE EITHER A COMIC GENIUS OR INCREDIBLY STUPID. |

The easiest most simple solution is for mothers to have a handgun on them at all times.
Coyotes are not dumb, shoot a few and they will return to being shy around humans. Here in NV "yotes" run from humans because we use them for target practice. The only place they don't is where silly Californians have moved into, they eat all the fresh protein left out in the yard...dogs and cats. |

I say get a big ol' Acme anvil and drop it on that pesky coyote.

It's obvious that you have little understanding of WILD animals. I will try to provide a bit of insight why this would NOT work.
Part of natural population control is the availability of habitat and food. If food is(made)readily available the animals will flourish and breed thus increasing their numbers which will increase the amount of food that needs to be provided or in failure to do that will cause the extra animals to seek other food sources bringing you back to the original problem. Ever notice that you have MORE bids around when you have a feeder than when you don't? Same effect. The second problem becomes the acclamation of a wild animal to humans. This only makes them MORE dangerous as they lose their fear for humans. As a result in most cases they will become more agressive. You only have to look at animal attacks in our national parks to realize the accuracy of this statement. Feeding wild animals also causes them to congregate resulting in fighting and spreading of disease. I find it unfortunate that you shelter your child from the struggles of the natural world that often result in death. In doing so you may be affecting her ability to understand and deal with death.

Seems like there's an easy answer that may not have occured to the stupid woman who is the child's "mother."
If you are living up in the MOUNTAINS, it's a good idea to NOT leave your 2-Year-Old OUTSIDE UNATTENDED. There are bears there, raccoons, hawks, even squirrels could HURT a 2-Year Old, so don't claim victimhood here, mom. You were stupid, a bad mother, and your child paid the price. |

NBC4.com says another coyote used the doggie-door to sneak into an IE house this week. Those critters are tenacious!

Only when you drop a house on the habitat they've been running on the last 100,000 years. They don't come to us. We are coming to them. I for one, cannot tell you the joy it brings my heart when another mountain biker tooling around the back hills of San Diego, or other areas of southern california gets nabbed by an alert Mountain Lion. When the mountain lion actually gets to eat the biker before any help arrives, I'm absolutely giddy. When wild animals attack intruders, it's the best thing in the world. |

Don't panic, they won't come to Long Beach from the I.E., The 91 has too much traffic and coyotes can't get Fasttrack Transponders because they don't have credit.
