7th suspected heroin death worries officials

This is the way a mature adult speaks to get his point across? An adult who is bringing up a 12 year old son? Get someone to hit you over the head with your pimp cane... maybe it will knock some sense into you.

Drugs are everywhere. All I can say is that we raise our children the best we can and the safest we can. Just explain the consequenses of drugs and back it up with the proof of what happens when you use it and hope for the best. Do our best on keeping them drug free and see if they can learn that they are bad.

That's just the thing, a "bad batch" is actually a "good batch".......people get so used to the stuff that is not pure because its been cut (mixed with other stuff) that when they get a "bad" (pure) batch, they end up using way too much because they don't realize its potency.

Well, that's just close-minded, judgemental thinking! Sometimes, you have to take a step back and look at the entire situation before judging someones drug addiction.

Oh. Never thought of it that way and I've even been a D/A Counselor for 10 years! Thnx 4 giving me another perspective to think about!

Everybody writing here needs to realize that all these kids dying is tragic! We were all young once and have experimented in some way or another so seriosly, LAY OFF! These kids tryed the wrong drug thinking "it won't happen to me" but its unfortune it did. We need to pray for the families that lost their kid and quit pointing fingers at everyone else or the location of where you live etc... drugs are everywhere. Just do your best to raise your children at making the right decision and watch who they hang out with and most importantly raise the up in the sight of God. That is the only thing that kept me somewhat in line.

Its a sad truth, I've seen it first hand in more cases than one. Most times, the supplier selling the stuff cuts it, then the dealer himself cuts it as well.

I anyone has noticed things are happening all arround us the more gruesome as well and people I know are loosing loved ones all arround this year and past. Just shows how close death has gotten.
It should make any of us think of when we may be next. And try to live right because we may die suddenly withought a chance to repent. I want to stay in good terms with God. I know He is real and I fear Him. I know I am not perfect. But He is Good. But this earth is getting older and things are getting worser and it's just the beginning. And do remember that one day we will all stand before God and He will either say either: "Well done my good and faithfull servant enter into everlasting life"/ or "Depart from me I never knew you" That should give anyone a sovereign fear because it's not over after death. The soul is gonna go either one place or the other. eternal lake of fire(Apart from God) or Heavenly Kingdom.(with God)

Oh yeah judge and you will be judged. Let's remember don't judge,pray for instead. We're in the same boat.

herion users do not deserve to die, thay are people just like you or me, trying to escape their problems.some drink, overeat,use drugs or whatever the case may be.they need help and understanding but most of all you have to agree that what an adult does is his or her buisness.it's unacceptable when children are sold drugs for any reason.All of these deaths could have been prevented if the government would legalise and regulate the drugs in this country.instead they create a society where if you are rich, you get the "good clean" drugs and if you're poor you end up with what you pay for, a heroin stamp cut with whatever the dealer can find to up the weight and price

im a recovering heroin addict.there is a newish drug called suboxone that works wonders,if it wernt for suboxone i would be dead.i have become a productive member of my community,a better boyfriend,a better son and brother.heroin addicts can be reformed.just b/c someone is addicted to heroin doesent make them a all around bad person.SO IF THERE IS ANYONE ON HERE THAT IS ON HEROIN AND WANTS TO CHANGE THEIR LIFE,LOOK INTO SUBOXONE.IT HAS SAVED MY LIFE AND VERY WELL MIGHT SAVE YOURS!!!!!

i agree with you, rizzo!!!last year on mothers day i found a box of needles in my apartment!!i was seven months pregnant and so upset..my boyfriend was a recovering addict and relapsed!!! we got him help with SUBOXONE'S!! He weened himself off of the suboxone's in just two months!!it really works!now my boyfriend is a wonderful father and a waaaaaaaaaaaay better boyfriend!!in fact we are getting married next year!!there is a suboxone's clinic in iwrin!!!if anyone needs the informations i can get the doctors name and phone number!!!
