It seems mesa police are very aggressive. My son 22 was stopped and the police slammed him to the ground and the officer held a gun to his head. My son had no weapon on or near him. He had road rash all over his face and shoulders from the altercation.

I think you need to get the rest of the story from your son. Mesa police don't slam a pulled-over driver to the ground unless he ran from them or threatened them or others in some way.

During a routine traffic stop? I don't think so.
