Hi All,
What are the nice subdivisions to own a home in the Queen Creek area? What are the Villiages of Queen Creek or Queen Creek Manor?
Thanks
this may not be the answer to your question but it may help in sorting things out. all the subdivisions are in the left column.

I have lived in Queen Creek since 1995 and I LOVE IT. It has changed quite a bit but I still think it is great. The area you will hear the most complaints about is the San Tan Valley area (also known as Johnson Ranch) and this is mainly because of traffic issues. It is located in the San Tan Mountains, surrounding foot hills and desert. It is an absolutely beautiful area with amazing views. I will never understand how the developer got away with such a large planned area with such limited access. The home prices are AMAZING in this area. It would be perfect for someone who worked from home or didn't have to drive to work during rush hour. There are some great subdivisions that are closer to town and still very reasonable. I would take a look at the Villages or Queensland Manor. These subdivisions would cut off a half hour or more to your commute compared to the San Tan Valley area. Also I would check out Pecan Creek, Circle Cross Ranch or San Tan Heights. They are located in the San Tan Valley area but are on the outskirts and so you are still seeing really great prices but not as long as a commute. There are also a ton of horse properties available through out Queen Creek. I just did a Queen Creek Real Estate Market Update last week with maps and statistics. You can find it here http://tarrasellsaz.wordpress.com/2009/11/06/...
Hello, i have lived here for about 7 months now and i love it also. i agree with your comment concerning hunt road but that is my only complaint (along with the bad drivers). the insufficient roads are partially the reason for bad drivers. its my belief that the subdivisions off of hunt road (and there are more than johnson ranch) are the ones affected by insufficient roads. the subdivisions off of ironwood do do have a traffic problem.

bottom line is i'm glad to be here and there are bargains to be had in any price range. to protect our future, we need to work on the few problems we have.

Welcome to Queen Creek Amazzzed, I am so glad you love it. My grandfather farmed here since the 1940's and my mom and her four siblings were raised here. In fact my mom now lives back on the homestead she was raised on. I totally agree with you about protecting our future to keep it a great place to live.

well im pretty convinced i want to live in the queen creek area. Ive visited it already and you guys have supplied alot of info. I only have three concerns,#1 dust, just how bad is it?,#2 my age, Im 61 and would like to find some female companionship, and #3 crime. Im a retired big city cop and really dont need to move to a area with alot of transients and crime.

Have you thought of an active adult community? Not for sure but I would think it would be fairly easy to find companionship. I use to work as a golf cart girl on the Trilogy (active adult) golf course and the residents had a lot of fun. More fun then I was having at 21, I wanted to live there. Golf all day and then BBQ and play cards in the evening. You could look up Encantera, Solera (there is one in Queen Creek and one in Chandler), and Trilogy (which is located in Gilbert but is right on the border, literarly). I believe they are all 55 and up. Of course there are a lot of other subdivisions if your not interested in the active adult communities. The crime rate is low in QC but ofcourse like all areas, some areas have more then others. Hope that helps.
