the bus driver is totally at fault it doesnt matter how bratty a child is u go into the career knowing how teenagers are... deal with it she is screwed for touching the kid it doesnt matter who is at fault the point is she was the adult and works for the school district...

my bus driver did that to me i thought she was a nice women.but she told every to get off the bus and she close the door on me and told me to go pick the news papper i had for my 5th grade project.and i told her no .she hold first from living bus 116 . and i pick up and i write a report on her she bin fire for 6 month

You are wrong on every count. The bus driver has not been charged with anything. The student has.

It DOES matter how bratty a child is. If we as a society embrace your philosophy, we would have a society that is totally out of control.

The bus driver is NOT screwed for touching the student. Per the county attorney, she was fully within her rights in her attempts to restrain the unruly student.

If you think the bus driver should be held accountable for touching the student, regardless of who is at fault, how far do you think a student should be able to go before a bus driver could use physical restraint? If you think, under ANY circumstances the bus driver is to keep her hands to herself and not touch a disruptive, volatile student, you have given the students permission to disobey every rule and put the driver and other students at risk.

OK that one who sent that comment agreeing with the bus driver the driver is not aloud to assult the girl the bus driver messed up one she embarrassed the girl 2 punched her grabed her and if I was on that bus I would of beat the out of the driver and you know what else that fucking driver needed the crap knocked out of her the driver is aloud to grab not punch period that gives student right for self defence and second a bus driver cannot grab in on sexual arrea's and if the girl was on here that posted that comment takeing the drivers side that girl needs to look at reality her mom started it the girl finished ti defending her mother that is in the wrong and another thing anyone don't like it tuff the only people that are for it is the girl her friends and that high society jerks that put school ahead of everythign

Looks like "someone" needs to go back to school to learn how to spell, use proper punctuation and read.

I don't care what ANYONE says, that girl shoulda done WAY more than what she did! I guess that's the difference between black and white kids! Had that been a black kid, that bus driver's ass woulda been straight whooped! The mother shoulda beat the bus driver as well. The fact that the bus driver's daughter came in is also a problem! She woulda got tore the hell up at school that next day. I know people say violence doesn't solve anything.... you crazy as hell. They shoulda got her ass! Simple as that! The bus driver had NO RIGHT to touch that student! When the bus driver threw the cell phone, she should have slapped her in the mouth! She's probably getting in trouble anyway, so why not make it worth wild!

THe bus driver has the responsibility to make sure the kids get to their stop. A kid does not have the right to get off when the want, or go wherever they want. This "Chrystal" is just as immature as the the girl in the video. GROW UP!!!

i watched the whole video the and read the paper and seen the police report on the news the girl was originally asked to get of the bus for being disruptive but i don't see how cause she couldn't do that so i think when the bus driver said that she noticed her fault tried to correct it but only escalated it but i think nobody's at fault just tempers and pms i know sounds bad but the girl claimed to be irritated cause of it but thats no excuse so i think apology's are in order and some community service for the 2 and for the drivers daughter she should have just sat down she needs something cause thats border line i know it her mom but she did nothing but make things worse

Well good lord. It's pretty obvious that the bus driver is the one that should be charged. The girl simply asked to get off the bus. Period. That doesn't warrant the abuse she took fromt the obviously distured bus driver or her daughter including punching, pushing, hair pulling, unlawful confinement etc. Charge the driver and the driver's daughter. Congratulate all of the kids on the bus for it NOT getting into a riot of any kind. Seriously if any of the students are charged we will not need to simply "wonder" what is wrong with the US justice system any longer.

The girl wasn't talking to her...she wasn't doing anything that i could see as warrenting such an action...but oh well in the end it doesn't really matter what i have to say.... It wasn't me thank the lord who had to deal with the bus driver or the student! oh and for the friend... I think she didn't do anything wrong...if some girl grabbed my friends hair from behind like that....well i wouldn't just stand by and let her do it... the friend didn't do anything more than seperate the bus driver's daughter from Samantha...

You sound like a good kid, but your maturity level is apparant in your post. I posted a much longer response in another section "charges pending in Higley case", or something like that. Here I'll just say that the driver has an immense responsibility and is supposed to have authority commensurate with that responsibility. The kid was out of line, way out of line, and the driver should have driven her back to school without a word, put her insolent butt off the bus, reported her to the Principal (who should have suspended her, since, oh goodness, we certainly can't expect anybody to support giving her a good paddling, since we all know that's so abusive and doesn't work anyway), and went back on her route. Then the principal should have called her mother and informed her that she was then responsible for her own child's transportation to and from school from then on. I pay taxes, and I don't pay them to transport disrespectful, insolent, rude, and potentially hazardous students on a school bus where the driver is responsible to insure ALL the children can safely and sanely ride to and from school. In this post I'm just not going to be so politically correct and thoughtful as in my other post. That kid instigated the whole affair and then kept going at it because she has no sense of discipline. Her mother apparantly has no interest in her learning any either. She is now in court since she refused to allow anybody else to discipline her child, and now they must face legal consequences for her child's inappropriate behavior. The kid needs her butt torn up for acting that way, but rest assured nobody is going to do it, so eventually she'll probably wind up going off on someone not so reluctant to strike back at her and potentially really hurt her. I've seen her type all my life. They are conditioned to believe they can get away with anything because mama will protect them, then someone comes along who couldn't care less about mama or anybody else and cracks their skull because they get up in their face. I feel sorry for the girl.

This is ONE case where the justice system in ARIZONA worked properly. You cannot let the inmates run the asylum.
