I strongly believe that the citizens of Hugo and anyone that drives 271 need to get together and petition that stop lights be put in front of the Choctaw Travel Plaza and Casino. How many deaths do they need before they realize there's a traffic problem?!? This is beyond ridiculous and needs to be brought to light. It was done in front of the one in Durant because of the same thing. Why in the world did they think that Hugo or Grant was going to be any different?!

Hello again. I didn't really mean for you to start a new thread but I guess it was best since you know its gonna turn into a bashing session on the other thread. Three people that I know of have died at the intersection and one was in wreck and still messed up. Bad thing is I dont know that many people and I am sure there are many many more.

Lights at which intersection? The north one or the south one or both? Each one is dangerous.

They need a light at north and south ends of casino. I have seen bad crashes at both. Last week I was driving by & had to detour because careflight was in the middle of the highway picking up another motorcycle crash victim.

That crash victim was a good friend of mine. He passed away. Hopefully a light will come soon.
