They should just bulldoze that godforsaken motel. Why doesn't Beiter's buy it and build a decent warehouse over there instead of that eyesore they put in front of their building. That motel is a dung pile to phrase it nicely. How many times do they have to break codes before they get shut down permanently? Plus they still have people living there, not just travelers spending a night or two, but people who reside there. I thought they said last time they closed them down that it was illegal for them to rent extended stays like that.... Come on!

Amen Kim. I remember that they were shut down for a while around the world series last year or so. That place is an eyesore. That would make sense for someone like Beiter's there on the Pike to tear it down and put in a warehouse or expand the store over there. That warehouse they put in front of their building is stupid. I heard that was for Echo Carpet while they were building it, who knew it was a warehouse. How dumb. I don't get that whole Echo Carpet thing either. There are tons of better carpet places around the area to shop at. Why would Beiter's hook up with Echo of all places?
Anyhow, tear down that motel! The sooner, the better.

Right on. Thankfully that King's Inn is gone, too bad it was Little League that wound up buying it. Little League has gotten way too commercial and too big for its britches if you want my honest opinion.

I know a bunch of employees old and current that I see out and about in town and not too many think very highly of Echo either. I won't go there, I would shop at Beiter's for furniture and appliances, but I agree there are way better places to buy carpet. In fact I know some installers that do work for them as well as others and have heard tales that I won't repeat here.
