Is brooklyn park going to be the new north MPLS?

Gangs are runnig the streets and crime runs wild here in brooklyn park.That is life in the hood.

I moved to Brooklyn Park thirty years ago when it was a new, growing community known for good schools. The house that my husband and I built in 1986 was a beautiful home and we put great care into maintaining it and taking care of the yard. It is now so run down that it makes me want to cry. I really don't understand how a neighborhood can decline so quickly. I am moving out of Brooklyn Park next month.

Good for you- you will be much happier. I remember my mother saying the same things about North minneapolis and we know what was the cause of that neightborhoods decline. You will sleep much better at night in another community :)

Every area have its own type of crime and gang. I say, blame the parents for bad parenting. If you cant handle the heat, move out of Brooklyn Park.
