It seems the landscapers in Lebanon don't need to earn any more money, as I had a few come out to give me estimates over a six-week period for a four-part project.

You know Louis your post points out one thing, you are as dumb as a stick and ignorant.“82 percent of Canadians preferred their health-care system to the one in the United States. Why is that?” Maybe because the LIVE in Canada…naw…yea and those MOBS - speaking their minds, exercising their 1st Amendment rights, damn they are crazy – how the nut jobs at the G20…you feel ok w/them huh…The greatness of this country is based in its uniqueness and exceptionalism…You should be proud we are NOT Canada or Britain – and be aware of the current condition of our Gov’t programs, Social Security, Medicare/Aid etc, they are in a shambles and you want to give them more..damn you are stupid…and this administration and current legislative leadership cannot manage their own branches let alone anything else…no you should rise up with these groups in an effort to save America…don’t thing you really give a damn about that at all though, do you…

Hey Craig Griffith it's obvious some of us in this world are our brothers and sisters keepers and will gladly spend money the thing none of us are taking with us to heaven when we die so our brothers and sisters can have healthcare.

Craig when you insert words before and after the scripture to suit your own agenda instead of spreading Gods words, that's called blasphemy.

It is Christian to help our neighbors but there is also that pesky commandment that goes something like "THOU SHALT NOT KILL". Any one who wants to die of cancer sooner than they would in the U.S. should move to the U.K or Canada. You will get your wish. Google "cancer survival rates" and get the facts, not the propaganda from the Communist News Network. All socialized medical systems ration care for all so that all can have mediocre care, when they can get it. After a few years, no one knows or remembers what good healthcare was all about. But it does save some money by not providing advanced neonatal care so that premature babies don't survive. They cost a lot of money and why spend money on what may become imperfect human beings. Hitler saved money the same way. Also delaying or denying care to older folks saves money too because they are deprived of expensive treatments and drugs solely based on age, and they die sooner than they would with care. After all, why waste healthcare on those who have no more value. I'm certain that cianide tablets will be covered under any government healthcare option.Gee,
these don't sound like practices of a Christian society to me.
These are the stated goals of Obama and his band of socialist thugs and they are clearly stated in all of the current health care bills. But you don't want to read those bills or you won't be able to do what the German citizens did after WW II and deny that you had any knowledge of what those bad people were doing.

Hold on a sec...

"Public dialogue and instruction, most often occurring in government-run schools, has not helped our children or society."

So the kind of sex education done in "government-run" schools and endorsed by the conservatives, against statistics that show over and over again to be ineffective, is now admitted to be unhelpful??

You have proven my point, sir. Thank you.

I know one thing - I have two Canadian friends. One lives in suburban Ottawa, Ontario and the other lives in suburban Montral, Qubec. Both have been Canadians all their lives. The one in Montral is a second-generation Ukrainian-Canadian and speaks Ukrainian, English and "hockey French" fluently.

I've kiddingly suggested to both that they emigrate to the U.S. Both turned me down for the exact reason that they don't want any part of the current U.S. health care system.

Why not let those who are uninsured or those who can't get affordable health insurance through their jobs take this public option? Medicare has been around for nearly 45 years and it has helped millions of senior citizens!

I just had to switch my health insurance yesterday because the price nearly doubled. My new policy, through the same carrier, still costs more than the old one did prior to the premium increase, yet provides me with far less. Instead of a $20 co-pay, it will now cost me $30 to see a doctor. After the 10% pay cut I took earlier this year, I can no longer afford to see my family doctor.

Suggest you go Canada or UK for your "free" health care. Should you survive, you will be begging to come back to the good old U.S.A.

Many are so out of touch with the real reason why I do what I do. I did not ask for this. I merely wanted to ask Senator Specter a question at a town hall. I wrote an article for About.com regarding those who mischaracterize me and my intent. Enjoy

To Stan, Go back to Akron. To Katy, How come i don't see you at any local meetings. Maybe i have this wrong, someone told me you are south of the railroad tracks in Lebanon County. How did you ever get in to see Specter? I could have camped on that sidewalk for 2 weeks and never got in. See Katy you have a lot to learn yet, read this carefully, IT DOES NOT START AT THE TOP AND WORK DOWN< IT STARTS AT THE BOTTOM AND WORKS UP> Think about it.

Uh,'cause the "public option" will be subsidized by my tax dollars. Why should I have to pay twice for insurance I won't use?

Besides, if there is a "public option" how long will it be before corporations that currently offer a good insurance plan (which most do) will want to off-load the cost of insurance onto the "public option" because it is cheaper?

In short, if I don't want to swim in your public pool, why push me in?

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Cancer

If you're busy with a last-minute Christmas shopping trip it will be easy to lose track of how much you're spending, particularly if you're in a panic and desperate to tick off every name on your list. However, you might be in for a nasty shock later on when you tot up the massive amount of money that you parted with. So try to keep a running total in your head or stick to a strict budget for each gift.
