If you dont know then you wrote: <quoted text>I worked there. Ask any exemployee and they'll tell you the same thing. The place is dirty. You should see the kitchen. Most customers come one time and you never see them again. A waitress simply can't make a living there. I've worked there but I won't eat there. If you truly did work there then part of your job responsibilities were to clean. I'm guessing that you aren't working there anymore because you weren't doing your job.

I've never been in the restaurant business and don't want to be. But as I understand, it is the responsibility of the cooks to clean up the kitchen, not the waitresses. If a waitress won't eat in that establishment, then that's good enough for me. I won't either.

Perhaps the waitress is disgruntled because she was terminated for poor performance and now has nothing better to do with her time than bash a former employer.

Then again...maybe she knows dirty from cleaniness and that is why she will not eat there. She worked there. She ought to know.

I've eaten there not once but twice and both times I was disappointed. Now I'm not trying to be catty but I will not go back. As far as I could tell the place was clean. Didn't go in the kitchen. Here's why I won't go back. The price is way over what it should be for the food served. The servings are large enough but the food is not that good. I don't want a large serving of something that I do not like. No offensive C Bistro but when I do get a chance to eat out it will be elsewhere. Sorry.

Obviously the owners of Cozy Corner Bistro have a complex or they would not be spending so much time defending the business. If the business is doing so well, why lower yourself to argue over so called gossip. If your business makes it, good for you, you beat the odds. The more you continue to air your dirty laundry in this town people are going to talk, be the bigger person and stop putting fuel on the fire.

You want to keep that historic feel... visit a museum or plantation. Heck have a historic district. We need businesses and people supporting them. BUY LOCAL and SHOP LOCAL even if it is $3 more for a half gallon of ice cream. LOL :)

Leave Creppy Corner, Crusty Corner, Bullshit Bistro, Crawley Corner, or Mistro Bistro...a/k/a/ Dirty Dan's Dainty Disgusting Gastronome alone. This site is supposed to deal with a so-called new grocery store. Any news on that?

It was more interesting reading about how dirty the Cozy Corner Bistro is. I passed by there today at 12:20 p.m. Yep, they won't make it.

Before too long it'll be known as The Bye-Bye Bistro. And it couldn't happen to a nicer, but dirty, place. Bye-Bye Bistro.

Was going to the Bistro for lunch today with my husband after church but as we drove up we noticed that there was but one vehicle in the parking lot. This was at 12:28 p.m. If their "after church" business is that slow we decided that we had best go elsewhere. When it was 8 Sisters you could hardly get into the parking lot after church. My, how times have changed.

Another West Feliciana/St. Francisville Topix success!!! Another one bites the dust!! Has anyone other than me ever thought that maybe these anonymous God Fearing Church Posters start with one purpose, Put the the target out of Business regardless of the business? DeJohn's, Eight Sisters, Cotton's, Oxbow, Georges, Bayou Bistro, Wing It, Elm Park, Now Cozy Bistro, and I am sure some overlooked. Wouldn't the right thing to do is tell the owner/manager about your complaints? How about, if when asked you respond one on one with whoever ask and express your views? Why do you feel it is your duty to put them out of business? No I don't know anyone connected with any of these places.

Law suit forced bankrupsy ( spelling) Cottons. Owner died Elm park. Operators moved to cosy corner since it burned down Oxbow. Still in business Gerores. Rent to high Bayou bistro. Never heard of it Wing it. Closed to remodel Why do you single out god fearing church goers?

You are mistaken about the Elm Park Restaurant. While it was operated for a short time by the current owners of another restaurant, the original owners were running it at the time of the fire. Business was quite good under the original owners and the food was always delicious. Check your facts before commenting.

I didn't get to go there very much because I can't drive anymore and had to depend on friends for the ride. But when I did go there I always ordered one of their hamburgers to go. Best I ever had. In fact, I have no idea what else was on the menu. The hamburger was what I wanted. Why to go? Because I could take the burger home, eat half for lunch and still had probably too much left for supper. I don't know if they will build back. I hope so.
